    Deathlisters who are dead

Dia de Los Muertos was the only DLr I've ever actually met. She used to live about half a mile from me. About 10 years ago she moved to Scotland and kept in touch by FB for a while. Can't remember her surname so can't see if she's still on FB. Canadian Paul posts on stuff from time to time elsewhere, that's how I know he's still kicking around.

Man in Black, Canadian Paul and Godot are still alive

    Political Frailty

Indeed he is. I've just seen the list, without cunningly disguised names for legal reasons (Even though I'm only listing Tory ex minister MP's in their 50's which is fact) as on the extra curricular thread so I'll not add any more.

Surely Luis Suarez Uruguay vs Ghana 2010? But Massing wins on a comic level, somewhat blaming Caniggia for the fact his (Massing) boot had come off.

Third member of that ionic 1990 team to die (Mfede, Massing, Tataw) . Granted, Central African longevity is not great, but by way of comparison, only 2 if the 1982 squad are dead. Really, really sad to hear this, I'm far more affected by it than I thought I would be. Only 11 have died from 1990 so Cameroon a count for over a quarter of them. (35: 1978, 29: 1982, 29: 1986, 17: 1994, 10: 1998, 4: 2002, 5: 2006, 2: 2010 and 2014.) Also 3 dead from their 1994 squad now (Mfede, Tataw, Foe)

    Olivia De Havilland

I would say that Glynis Johns is probably the natural replacement for Livvy DeH. IMHO, I think she the oldest "best known" name on that list linked by Ulitzer95

Please forgive the lack of a link, but Zanardi is now back in intensive care after his condition became unstable. On www.motorsport.com and other Italian news media.

10 bags of Frazzles is a hell of a tempting offer for anyone to receive, let's be honest.

    FIFA World Cup Players

Haiti's 1974 squad has taken a bit of a battering recently - Claude Barthelemy I posted about a while back. Also gone is Roger Saint Vil - https://lenouvelliste.com/article/217173/roger-saint-vil-le-8e-disparu-de-la-generation-dor and the article also reveals Serge Racine has died. This can only have been either late 2018 or early 2019 as he was still alive in 2018 https://uk.sports.yahoo.com/news/world-cup-countdown-11-weeks-175800431.html but was also listed as deceased when Barthalemy died in April.

Indeed. And he raced as Dick, Sir C as a simple Google search would've shown you. https://www.google.com/search?q=dick+passwater&oq=dick+passwater&aqs=chrome..69i57.6878j0j7&client=ms-android-sonymobile-rev1&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8

    How Long Until We're Dickless?

This could've gone in the Moniker thread or Chequered flag, but really it deserves to be here. Former NASCAR racer Richard 'Dick' Passwater, died earlier this month - https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/heraldtribune/obituary.aspx?n=richard-passwater&pid=196502775&fhid=14483

Godot, I think, was in his mid 50s when around in the late 00's. He is/was a journalist but I'm not sure of his real name. Journos don't always have long lifespans... I am sure I recollect a very minor DLr dying as I thought a family member posted it. This would be aeons ago but my memory is not what it was.

Nice idea for a thread, but why not include those from the BBC years? I haven't gone through all the names but Tommy Steele, Petula Clark and Olivia de Havilland are all in there and alive.

I've been mightily impressed with Rishi Sunak during all this turbulence. Not least as he didn't even have time to prepare or plan due to Javid seemingly doing a Cameron and bailing out early.

Zaire's Kilasu Massamba played against Petkovic et al in 1974 and he also died last week. Sorry about font size as I'm on the phone and haven't the foggiest how to amend it. Obit - https://actualite.cd/2020/06/25/rdc-champion-dafrique-1974-et-mondialiste-la-meme-annee-victor-kilasu-massamba-est
