One could say that I like the band's name and this single was released twice in the same year in the mid-nineties. The first release peaked just outside the top 50 in the UK and the second release, just outside the top 10. A housing estate in Liverpool was apparently behind the inspiration for the song.

There being a gap of 21 and a bit years when the song first hit the UK top ten, the original artist appeared as a featured artist on the same song when it became a duet and hit #1. The original and then featured artist is dead, the other artist on the #1 version was part of a more famous duo.
Plenty of info there.
T'other one is Pitney and Marc Almond.

- Pastor Rick Wiles says he believes the coronavirus was sent by God to purge sin
- 'My spirit bears witness that this is a genuine plague that’s coming upon the Earth. And God is about to purge a lot of sin off this planet'.
- Wiles blames 'sexual immorality' and 'filth on TVs and in movies' as being linked to the outbreak which has already killed 131 and infected more than 5,500.
- Wiles believes that Christians who are devoted to Jesus are immune to the virus.

What would you choose? Crucifixion for Sir Creep given his stature.Well it was good enough for Saint Peter.

@DevonDeathTrip We have an Ebola thread, do we really need this? Can't this be merged and renamed 'Ebola and other viruses'?
