Not just one, but two! She just totally slipped through the cracks, for some reason. I went through the list of multiple Best Actress Oscar winners (there are 14), and the only other one I had never heard of was Luise Rainer. Since Rainer won her awards in 1936 and 1937, I suppose that's understandable. But strange that I never encountered reading anything in print or seeing/hearing anything in the media that would've put her existence into my memory.
Here she is in one of her Oscar winning performances as Cleopatra in a play what Ernie wrote.

@MikeM, I think I speak for all of us when I say we are saddened by your loss.
I've been searching on a regular basis for her TIYL episode for you but to no avail. I'll keep looking.

Could somebody who is good at techknowledgy look into this please, as it suggests that the problem may be here and not at YT?
They stopped embedding around the middle of November. The weird thing is the ones posted up to that point are still embedding.

A rare recent photo of Richard Tandy (L) from November...
Jeff Lynne's ELO is on BBC4 at 10.35 this evening. It was recorded about three weeks ago. Radio Times has a promo pic.

What's the formula for calculating lifespan between two dates in google sheets (preferably one that works with dates prior to 1900 and having the results in Years, Months and Days)?
Is this what you are looking for?

Are we going to have one thread for two deaths on the same day and a second thread for three or more deaths on the same day?

@Sir Creep, this thread is about named individuals appearing in the lyrics of songs. "Which famous person is mentioned in the most different pop songs" is the opening post. You forgot to mention the songs where Stephen Cleobury's name is in the lyrics.

The British conductor and organist, who was knighted in 2019, died peacefully in his hometown of York during the night of Friday 22 November.
The sad news comes after Cleobury had been experiencing a long-term illness.
SCThis thread is extra curricular. This post would be far better placed in your Gospel & Christian Music thread. He sang as a chorister at Worcester Cathedral.
