    Interesting Ways To Die...

It certainly makes a change from the idiots who want to be nailed to a cross over the easter weekend in previous years

    Lady Bird Johnson

hmmm a 94 yr old in a ticketing scam... makes me wonder if they got the names mixed up and were intending to report about my friend's gran. She cheats constantly when playing Shanghai Rummy

    World War I Veteran(s)

That would have made him somewhere between 10 and 14 years old during the Great War, so that's highly unlikely. (googling) He is quite young though. If he makes it till december, he'll celebrate his 105th birthday. He served on a submarine as a young lad. Were those navy-guys never checking ID's? Admitting 15 or 16 yrs old on a boat seems to be a brute way of saving space. It's highly possible he would have been at least 14 at the time. Many WWI soldiers lied about their age wanting to do their bit to stop the advance of the Kaiser and even more so when the Russians pulled out towards the end.

    Near misses 2006

Iain, stop lying & stop posting sh*t. The edit page of Nicholas Courtney on Wikipedia reveals that the last edit was on the 20th April. You have just made this up this morning. I'm sure, like many of us, you're disappointed it's so quiet on the deaths front, but there's no need to keep making up false rumours, lies & deaths. It just makes you look stupid, if nothing else. Why the F**k do you do it? It only pisses everybody off. A lot of the DL 50 were chosen due to you exagerrating their condition (Moore, Heston, LBJ) & then you keep moaning, more loudly than others, of the misses, which were misses as the "reliable" news got buried under all your sh*t. If you've got proper news or deaths to post, fine, but stop posting this utter sh*t. No wonder Tempus has gone.. Iain, Also stop relying on Wikipedia as a source for reporting deaths. As you can see on numerous occassions that it's used as a frequent place for people to plant a hoax

if the current state of the Labour party doesnt finish off Michael Foot then nothing will.. I doubt even Blair in the current situation could do a worse job than Foot ever did

    Margaret Thatcher

Im told that Maggie Thatcher is in excellent health and is likely to live at least 5 to 10 more years.Let us rejoice at that news-NOT Iain, You were also told that Michael Foot was going to die earlier in the month. reverse psychology perhaps?

    Charles Haughey

Are you and your dad alright? The Singing Postman isn't exactly easy listening. Oh me and my dad are fine, we just have a warped sense of humour. It's a competition each year to find the worst possible recording by a "celebrity" Last year I bought my dad a copy of Regis Philbin (co-host of Good Morning America) singing Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer as part of a duet with Donald Trump. He bought me a Max Bygraves album

    Charles Haughey

Knowing my current track record, he's likely to survive for at least another month allowing someone else to die instead since I "predicted" he'd be the 5th hit for DL. I think I inadvertantly killed Gene Pitney off last month as I found one of his records in the basement and decided to play it. A week later he was dead. My dad did the same with Allen Smethurst (The Singing Postman), bought him an album for christmas, dad put it on tape to take into work. The day he played the tape, Smethurst died. I wonder if Haughey was ever compelled to record an album, and if so, does anyone know where I can get hold of it? It'll go very well in my uneasy listening section

    Windsor Davies

The Davies, who if memory serves me comes from Canning Town rather than anywhere in Wales, lives in Clapham South. The Sinden lives just off Victoria Street. He lived in Wales during the war, infact not far from where I'm living at the moment...I knew all the family very well. I always remember Don Estelle setting up a stall in The Arndale Center in Wandsworth selling copies of his albums. I'd avoid it like the plague the moment I would hear him start singing "Little Donkey"

  15. Depending on which side of the Atlantic you're on, someone else was born on the 27th (if you're in the UK, then it's the 28th). A new addition to the Phantom household, Louisa Madelaine, was born weighing in at 5lb 5oz. Both mother and baby are doing very well

    Michael Foot

Easier said than done if he has my luck. I've put people on my lists that were supposedly on their last legs and sure enough they survive for a good couple more years. The ones that I've often been told are in good health suddenly drop dead

I still can't find any link for Bonnie Owens and I'm sure I didn't dream it when I saw it on the crawler for CNN as my wife saw it too. Anyway, Phil Walden founder of Capricorn Records that launched the careers of Otis Redding and The Allman Brothers has died at the age of 66 from cancer
