Ingvar Kamprad, founder of a small, family-owned, neighbourhood furniture store called IKEA (You might've heard of it). According to this article (Warning: Swedish) he wants to relocate back to his hometown, due to health reasons. Although he claims there aren't any 'serious' health issues, it's said that he's been cared for by doctors for most of his adult life. He also stepped down as chairman of IKEA a few months ago. It's not necessarily health related, but here are some other tidbits: He's a former heavy-alcoholic, he was fitted with pacemaker a few years ago, was really broken up over the death of his wife in late 2011, and turns 88 in March 2014. I was gonna keep him as a unique pick for 2014, but I just love sharing. Discuss: Is he one to watch out for in the coming year? Think he's a contender for the Official DL 2014 line-up? Or will he stick around a while longer?

In this new, strange post-Christopher Sanderson-who-was-once-married-to-Susan era, I was wondering what the protocol for starting threads is? I couldn't find anything in the unwritten rules. I have no news whatsoever on this not particularly old or unwell composer, though I am a big fan of his evocative soundtracks. He'll die one day, I feel convinced of it. Oh look, it's on the front page. Will it be deleted, I ask myself? Merged with Eli Wallach, praps?

Sir Harold Wilson, the Labour politician who served as Prime Minister from 1964 to 1970 and 1974 to 1976 is 96. How many people think he'll live until 100? Can we get a health update because I haven't heard what he's doing in a while? He's had Alzheimers since the late 1980's so he can't be that well off.

Rob Ford So it has been going around there is a video of Ford(Mayor of Toronto) smoking crack. He held a press conference stating ""I do not use crack cocaine,"Nor am I an addict of crack cocaine" If this turns out to be true he seems like he would be a good candidate for 2014 as the only obese crackhead the world.

I'm only judging his fame by the size of his Wikipedia page, but The Simpsons executive producer Sam Simon might be worth keeping under observation. He has provided a photo of his medication on his Twitter page (you need to go through his media gallary to see). There is rather a lot of it and the only pills I could make out the name of are used to combat nausea during and after chemotherapy.

That is how people like that go - suddenly without notice sending the fans, the nation and the world into shock over the loss of a great and enduring entertainer. But as we all know when the time is up the time is up no matter who, what or where you are. Bennett is 86 and seems to be doing well but that will serve as the shocker for the disbellief. It's easy to put people on the list that are obviously aged and looking half dead already, like Kirk Douglas and others. But the hard part is picking someone that no one would suspect is going to just kick over and.............well you know. I just have this feeling lately about Tony, even played some of his songs on YouTube - check out "if I ruled the world". Well maybe Tony does rule the world the way he is still at the top of the game, you know? What do you think?

Apparently the print edition of the Southend Echo is reporting Canvey Island's finest Wilko Johnson has terminal cancer and is refusing chemo. He did have to cancel a hometown gig back in November last year due to being taken into hospital but that's the latest on the SE website at the moment. A statement should be on Wilko's website shortly. Really sad news, but obviously one to watch depending on what sort of cancer it is.
