Greatest German footballer to ever live, now in poor health and unable to attend both the World Cup and Pelé's funeral. Though he is very private on his health issues, he has recently revealed he is "doing well considering his condition", which is not so reassuring. Also looking very thin and yellowish. 80 seems a tall order.

What do people think about MJ doing himself in over these allegations. Just a thought. I mentioned to MR STATS last year that Aaron Spelling had an incurable disease and that he should be included. At present i'm unable to gather any other information on his health. Does anyone know any more??

Mentioned enough times on the forum before for his mental health issues, car crashes, eating disorders and alleged meth addiction, so why not give him his own thread? Latest in the world of Aaron: his brother, Nick Carter, has taken out a restraining order against him. Aaron has responded by buying a gun. Of course their sister Leslie, whose attempts at following in her brothers' pop footsteps bombed, died of a drug overdose a few years ago.

Shane is looking in pretty poor shape these days and seems to be unable to wean himself off drink and drugs. Anyway as I was researching the attendees of Barbara Bushes funeral online I found out that Rosalynn and her hubby won't be attending. (in his case because of a long standing engagement overseas I think) But part of the reason that Rossalyn isn't attending is because she is still not sufficiently recovered from intestinal surgery in February. Sure a slow recovery is to be expected in senior years but nevertheless I think it's enough to prompt her own dedicated thread rather than one shared with other first ladies. Possibly one to watch and a likely name on next year's official list by the committee.

Being that the entire species (all variations) may well be extinct in our children's' lifetimes, I figured we could count them down, 1 by 1. We lost two bloody black rhinos just this month. Denver Zoo officials are mourning the loss of a 21-year-old black rhinoceros after the animals health caused the zoo to euthanize him. Zoo officials say since 2014 they have tried 20 different procedures and therapies to alleviate the critically endangered animals foot problems, including customized boots. Mshindi was born at the zoo in 1993. His name means warrior or champion in Swahili. The rhino was taught to hold a paint brush in his mouth and create paintings that were then sold to raise money for rhino conservation. Annette Funicello - 63 years old, has had MS since 1987. Starred in the "Beach Movies" of the '60s, and a few other flicks along the way. She had brain surgery in 1999 to slow down tremors to her brain from the MS. Probably a bit too American, but it's worth a shot.
