Heard the old nun on the radio this morning. Sounded OK, but... Born in 1930, history of poor health since the 1970's, series of heart attacks around 2000/2001, not to mention her relentless hedonistic lifestyle. Opinions?

Listening to some song mix on Spotify the seekers came up. Just wondering what ever happened to Judith Durham aged 77 on 3rd July. Had a stroke in 2013 but haven't heard anything from her in a long while. Still alive and apparently still singing, but her stroke left her with writing and reading disabilities. Definite obit material. Thoughts?

Probably deserves a thread...but is this one of the "youngest" 101-year-olds on the planet? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/science-environment-53644147/james-lovelock-gaia-theory-creator-on-coronavirus-and-turning-101

.Paul Sorvino born in 1939 is about to be 71 because he was born in the month of April. He has been fat like really fat most of his life and he has asthma both of which could lead to his being dead real soon. One of his early roles was a coughing cop in Cry Uncle and he is from Brookyn where with the accent it would be a coughin cop. Who else thinks he is good as dead? I predict he will die this year.

This thread is the place to discuss Mickey Rooney.

i find this web site mean towards the people who you are predicting to die and their families. how would any of you like to log on to a web site and see that people were predicting you of a relation of yours to die by the end of the year. he is alive and well and has a years left in him.

Decided to give a topic to this critically acclaimed actor. Stopped treatment in July, so surely a 2019 death, right?

Could he be the first death this year, after news today that he has suffered a major heart attack? Report in today's London Evening Standard states from his friend that he is desperately ill. Prison sources state that Biggs is "stable" Will he, won't he?

Yeah, so he has an aggressive form of brain cancer, so he's definitely a very good candidate for next year I think. Felt like he needed his own thread, and I try to limit the amount of threads I make, but it's too tempting this time, so here we are...

Why, you ask? Well, I‘ve been researching into Maranne’s precise date of birth. If anyone’s interested I can keep you updated on what I find, now on Maranne’s own thread. Apart from that, Maranne will be 95 sometime next year and is famous in the UK for Pink Panther films, Fawlty Towers, Darling Lili, Doctor Who etc. He is also my favourite living actor and I think he really deserves his very own thread. Such a great actor and his mysterious date of birth may continue to prompt interesting discussion. Furthermore, Toby Hadoke said in April 2020, Maranne cannot remember being in Doctor Who. Dementia maybe? Apologies for all this waffle, but I wanted to explain why I started a specific thread for Maranne. I felt I may have too much information on him for his related threads like the James Bond one (he only appeared in Thunderball for a few seconds by the way) which are not specifically designed just for news on Maranne and as I anticipate he’ll be on the 2021 DL, he would have his own thread soon anyway. I have made lots of 2021 DL suggestions but I ask for Maranne over any of my other suggestions, please DeathList committee. This legend should not be a DL miss. In future, I will try not to make new threads unless they are absolutely necessary, this one was just important to me.

I caught sight of Dennis Waterman talking about the Sweaney the other night, he could well be reunited with the guvner Jack Reagan in 2006. He was gulping in large amounts of breath between sentences. and his top lip was stretched tight over some extremely large teeth. He could quite well shake a six in the new year

Lata Mangeshkar, India's most famous singer ever, has been in hospital for a while with COVID and pneumonia. Today doctors said she will take a lot to recover, which seems rather ominous. Also hospitalised in critical condition in 2019 with respiratory failure and spent weeks on life support.

The actress Cloris Leachman is ninety-fucking-two, as she would say, and hasn't got a thread like 4 of her Mary Tyler Moore Show chums. She's one of the few people with a truly instantly recognisable name à la Zsa Zsa. Her illustrious career goes back 70 years and has seen her win a whopping 8 Emmys. Her role in The Last Picture Show bagged her an Oscar. Seems deathlisty. That 2015 photo above inspired a "Sad Last Days" article. She had hurt her ankle a few days before the picture was taken, plus the National Enquirer writers have clearly never seen an 89-year-old woman without makeup. This is her at her most recent red carpet event on 2nd March of this year: She is a strict vegetarian and leads an active lifestyle. In the 2010s alone she has made 86 film/TV appearances. One of those is The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure, a God-awful POS spawn-of-satan "what moron thought that was a good idea" type of film. It stands as the lowest-grossing film EVER released in >2k theatres. She's back on track now, with films planned for as far ahead as 2020. I believe and hope she'll be around for longer than that, but she should be on people's radar.

dead Sheila Rossall (Infamous Sick Girl From The Seventies)
Vinegar Tits posted a topic in DeathList Forum
You might not know the name (and to be honest I'm not actually sure it is her name) but if you're a certain age you'll definitely remember the story... Sheila Rossall was "the girl who [was] allergic to the 20th century" and swapped headlines every week in the News Of The World with Lena Zavaroni as newsworthy ill girls. Formerly the singer of New Pickettywitch - not to be confused with Pickettywitch, though to this day Polly Browne gets asked about her health due to this story - she was last heard of living in an oxygen tank in Texas, with not long to live because the money for her treatment was running out. Whatever happened to her? Did she get better? Did she die? There were rumours that she was a fake but nothing was ever proven. The net has scant information about her, and most of that is people wondering whatever happened to her (including a fair amount of posts from me, because I'm sad like that ). Opening up the gauntlet here - anyone?
