    George Michael, Innit Peeps

Mr Panayiotou seems to be as fond of the Class A's as my previous sleb thread heroine, Amy W. Ladies and Gentlemen, do we have Faith that he'll live to be much Older or is he on The Edge of Heaven? (yes, I had to look all those up).

    42. John McCririck

Well, as no one seems to want to start a thread for him, I thought I'd do it. He's not looking very well at the moment. What's the betting he's going to appear on the 2019 list?
  5. She's quadraplegic and she set off today to sail the channel single handed. Can you be 'handed' when nothing below the neck works? Anyway, it's brave to the point of suicidal since she's dependent on blowing through straws to steer herself. There's some damn big ships going up and down that sea lane, it'll be dark part of the time. Etc etc.

    Mohamed Morsi

http://www.jpost.com...-protest-318205 So with threats this is turning into a civil war and Morsi is in his heavily guarded Qubba presidential palace, how long before he is strung up like gaddafi. P.s if anyone can think of a better sub-heading it will be great as mine is not really that good haha .

    Lone Rhinoceros

Being that the entire species (all variations) may well be extinct in our children's' lifetimes, I figured we could count them down, 1 by 1. We lost two bloody black rhinos just this month. Denver Zoo officials are mourning the loss of a 21-year-old black rhinoceros after the animals health caused the zoo to euthanize him. Zoo officials say since 2014 they have tried 20 different procedures and therapies to alleviate the critically endangered animals foot problems, including customized boots. Mshindi was born at the zoo in 1993. His name means warrior or champion in Swahili. The rhino was taught to hold a paint brush in his mouth and create paintings that were then sold to raise money for rhino conservation. Franco Zeffirelli

This is the first time I create a new topic. But I think, such an important opera, cinema and film producer like Franco Zeffirelli really deserves his own thread. A few days ago he turned 95 years old. He is best known for his work in Romeo and Juliet (1968: won 2 Oscars), Hamlet (1990 nominated for 2 Oscars with Mel Gibson and Glenn Close) The Taming of the Shrew (1967 nominated for 2 Oscars with Liz Taylor and Richard Burton), Jesus of Nazareth (1977 with Robert Powell, Christopher Plummer and Anne Bancroft) La Traviata (1982 nominated for 2 Oscars) Othello (1986 nominated for 1 Oscar) In 1972, for moral reasons, he refused to work as director for The Godfather. Francis Ford Coppola then got this job. Only four weeks ago in January 2018 his son declared that his father is too ill. He's on my personal list for the first time this year. But he would certainly be a possible candidate for the official Deathlist 2019.

    9. Doris Day

As far as I know, Doris Day (singer/actress) is still alive. According to All Music Guide she was born April 3rd 1924, making her 81. Also, she's barely been seen since her TV show ended in 1973. Strangely, her son Terry Melcher died last November aged 62...

    Nigel Kneale & Judith Kerr

Watching The Quatermass Trilogy on DVD a while ago, I found out writer Nigel Kneale is still alive (b. 18th April 1922). Judging by the documentary features, he can't have long left. Bright and alert in footage shot in 1993, he looked old and frail on the other made in 2004. And to be honest, he doesn't seem to have done much writing for TV in the last 10 years.
