gcreptile 10,214 Posted March 17, 2022 King Salman in hospital: https://en.dailypakistan.com.pk/16-Mar-2022/saudi-king-hospitalised-for-minor-heart-procedure Just a minor procedure for his pacemaker battery this time, but he article also mentions his previous gallbladder surgery. We have mentioned something like that in 2020, but now the article speaks of "gallbladder removal", maybe that was a more recent second surgery?

The gallbladder surgery in 2020 was a "complete removal" according to Al Jazeera. He has a long health history including heart disease (and the surgery this time seems to be heart-related, atleast they mention a pacemaker battery change) reported to have suffered "atleast one stroke" before becoming king, spinal surgery in 2010 and on top of all this has (probably) been suffering from dementia for atleast 5 years.
