All things considered that honor belongs to Olivia Newton John.

A 450-name funeral committee list has apparently been released. Wikipedia has the first 100 and for example ancients Hu Jintao, Zhu Rongji, Wu Bangguo, Song Ping, Luo Gan, Pagbalha Geleg Namgyai, Tung Chee-hwa, Tian Jiyun, Chi Haotian and others are there. I wonder if some of these have been included only for symbolic reasons or if they'll actually have to do something or attend the funeral. Some have been in failing health forever.

Hu Jintao: Parkinson and dementia, likely suffered a stroke some time ago.

Zhu Rongji: Parkinson and hospitalised for the last three years

Wu Bangguo: reportedly in failing health, unable to attend the Congress.

Song Ping: 105 years old

Luo Gan: in failing health for years

Pagbalha Geleg Namgyai: ???

Tung Chee-hwa: in failing health for years, received surgery last year

Tian Jiyun: reportedly frail for years

Chi Haotian: doing well?

Would Song Ping get a QO in the British media?

Well then, how do I not put a 105-year-old on my 2023 List?

From the archive : Jiang Zemin dancing with Bernadette Chirac in 1999. Two immortals in one picture ?

And here he is with Elizabeth II. Two nonagenarians we deemed to be fit and perfectly healthy just a couple of years ago. Both taken by cancer. I suppose Robert Mugabe also fits into that category.

Images from Jiang's funeral. Jiang looked unrecognizable, very thin and almost bald with few white hair left. Wang Yeping was on a wheelchair and looked frail. Zhu Rongji failed to attend it of course and Hu Jintao was not there either (though he was at the cremation ceremony a day before).

Who did they cremate at the ceremony the day before? Oh dear, starting to worry for Zhu Rongji :P

I'm shocked they didn't put a mask on his corpse, you know, as a precaution...
