Ronnie v Ding as a second round match still feels ridiculous.

Also qualifier now guaranteed in the semis with Maflin's win.

I’d love to see Ding win. Not that he will, of course; Ronnie’s looking mighty.

I think Ding could. Ronnie really hates the Worlds, I can't imagine a best of 25 is any less boring (surely even more so) with no crowd?

I like snooker but not to the extent where I’ll watch it for hours, but this shot blew me away. Class.

I agree. I saved £70 a month by cancelling my Sky Sports package.

If I want to listen to an twat getting excited about saying Italian names, I take my 14-year-old son out to a restaurant and hand him the menu

I watched Snooker pretty regularly many years ago. And I've just read that Ronnie O'Sullivan, Mark Williams and John Higgins are in the semi finals of the World Championship. Is this 2022 or 1998?

Admittedly, Mark Williams is getting his arse handed to him.

There may only be one of that class in the final. Come on Johnny Higgins!

I do get the impression that Judd Trump is the only player of the next generation to be on their level. Being the young one at 32 is still a bit worrisome.

All those Chinese players been banned for the moment and investigated for match fixing, if found guilty they can expect a lovely reception back home. Heads on the chopping block for dishonoring China?
