Who Should Make The Deathlist In 2021?

Recommended Posts

Well guys, it’s that time of year again where we go on to suggest our favorite Pokemon Gamer from Virginia and co that will ultimately be ignored by the committee once again. So who do you think should make the list come 2021?

I’ll start out by saying that Larry King better return to the list...

Above all, I plead the Committee to include André Maranne on the 2021 DL and not include Clint Eastwood.

I also agree with Larry King returning next year, providing he sees 2021.

One name that stuck out to me during Scavenger research was James Watson. Probably the most famous scientific Nobel Laureate for co-discovering DNA. Looks like utter shit.

Susan Peterson Dr James Watson and Magnus Walsh attend A Country House Gathering To Benefit Preservation Long Island on June 28 2019 in Locust Valley...

Tommy Lasorda should also make an appearance due to his recent health.

And not only should Pope Benedict XVI return, but he should be a top 10 pick.

Old age is a contributing factor and he doesn’t look long for the world nowadays. Don’t know if he has any health problems.

The only name I would passionately campaign for is Yoko Ono.

Trevor Peacock has also had advanced dementia for years and turns 90 next year. He's often overlooked but there will definitely be a media buzz when he dies, considering how iconic his character was in The Vicar of Dibley.

I have a few considerations to fill the 17 (possible 18/19) deaths from this year:

Beverly Clearly

Larry King

Rush Limbaugh

Sir Bobby Charlton

Pope Benedict

Mr. Gorbachev

Harvey Weinstein

Michael Schumacher

Jimmy Greaves

Sidney Poitier

Tim Curry

Yoko Ono

Noah Chomsky

Bill Cosby

as for other suggestions I had, Rosemarry Harris doesn't seem to be well known enough, Robert Duvall seems to be unseen nowadays to know how he is, Don King was at a Trump rally if i recall correctly and Rosalyn Carter and Mondale seem likely to go when Carter passes which is unknown at this point

Of the cancered names, James Whale and Rush Limbaugh surely ought to debut on the list. Most people won't be mourning those two when they die, which is a bonus from your usual cancered names...

Alan Dean Foster (Star Wars author) also would be a good pick

As expected, there are many reoccurring suggestions here. Rush Limbaugh, Larry King, Pope Benedict, Beverly Cleary and Sidney Poitier, just to name a few.

Much as I hate to say it, maybe time to start considering Bernard Cribbins.

Do you have any news on his current health?

Just the old news that he'd taken frail in the last 2 years, cut down on most of his planned stuff well before covid (he had to pull out of the Dad's Army remakes on poor health grounds), and he showed up on the One Show at the start of the year looking like he'd suddenly aged 50 years. Last I heard since, he was "frail but cheery". Anyhow, will be a sad day when he goes.

It certainly will. Yet time is not pressing on Mr Hutchinson fortunately.

Cribbins actually looks as though he has a few years left, judging from that video.

Actors Norman Lloyd and Marsha Hunt. Lloyd is 106 and Hunt is 103.

Lloyd on his 106th birthday:
