Authors Len Deighton and Jack Higgins. Both in their early 90s and almost certainly will get QO's

My dad has Len Deighton's full book collection. He loves his spy novels, has all the Bond and le Carre ones too.

Can't say I've ever read a spy novel in my life so not sure if I'm missing out!

Barry Cryer is trending on Twitter for turning 86 today. Maybe someone we should have on the list.

I would not object to the inclusion of Barry Cryer as he has had health issues in the past and regularly makes jokes about his health and limited longevity along the lines of he no longer buys green bananas.

However when lined up against other stalwarts of British comedy I might be more inclined to go for Graham Garden. Barry is still working and seems to have his marbles.

Q/o surely nailed on in the dead pools that favour UK reporting if only because he sang Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

Also sang the original "Hooked on a Feeling" (not the "ooga chaka" one).

Just wondering now because of Connor, who was the youngest person on an official deathlist?

I did once use a 27 year old, solely for join-the-club sakes ^_^

That's a bit of a can of worms!

(Number 35 on the 1993 list, which Cmme members have publicly regretted since...)

One who'll doubtless prompt debate because he's a borderline FFBI/obitable in his own right case.

Henry Marsh - terminally ill doctor now front and centre of the right to die debate - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-56597771

Good one, but I'd say the word "leading brain surgeon" qualifies him. If he were "just some doctor" he would not (But of course, in my heart, every doctor is great).
