Another veteran German actress has died: Maria Sebaldt at age 92 on April 4th.

She is best known for starring in 80s TV series like "Ich heirate eine Familie" and "Die Wicherts von nebenan". I always liked her and her acting characters. R.I.P.

With the seventh hit at the beginning of May, we have now reached a tie with our list from the previous year.

So there's a good chance we'll top this list - after all, there's almost 8 months to go...

Operatic bass singer Günter Wewel, who hosted the tv-show "Kein schöner Land" ("No country more beautiful") from 1989 to 2007 has died aged 88:

He sang and presented folksly German music in that show, but he was also "Kammersänger" and played operatic roles by Wagner and Mozart on different stages, mainly in Saaland.

Be wary of Germans singing songs. You know what it leads to.

I think you’re easily fascinated and don’t know what that means.

Correct, I should have been more direct with my wording. It's you, eejit. If you want your next alt to be less obvious then comment something other than the same shite jokes on every thread.

You’re obviously sexually repressed, take it out on someone else.

Both OMJ and Hermit use a shit ton of IPs. And one OMJ used on 4/4 has considerable overlap with one The Hermit used on the same day.

Combined with Hermit never contributing anything of value, he's out.

You know, if somebody tries to accuse someone of being sexually repressed then it’s obvious that they’re truly the sexually oppressed person

Actually shocked, as I watched Conversation Piece, which Visconti directed him in, only last night! I watched their prior collaboration The Damned last week.

(As you may gather from my avatar, I'm a fan of this period of cinema, and the likes of Visconti in particular)

We picked Helmut Berger in our fist D-A-CH-List in 2021 in 28th place, but didn't considered him for the next two lists. What a shame, what a miss!!! :(

So I hope for a qo as I picked him in my DDP theme team at least.
