Sophie Freud is a DDP pick also.

A unique pick for my theme team.

She also was on our long list but didn't make the Top 50 :(

A third hit could really happen now!!!

Sad miss for this list, as his health wasn't the best, but it seems we weren't convinced enough.

I already gave up our list for this year anyway :(

Now it is reported, that Trude Unruh already died in November 2021! WTF! Why wasn't this reported?

https://www1.wdr.de/nachrichten/trude-unruh-gestorben-100.html

So one more hit for the D-A-CH-List 2021, one less for this year's list :(

Doesn't this mean that we beat the Deathlist last year?

Edit: Or wait, guess it's 11 hits last year vs. 12 for the Deathlist?

So now we really do have our fourth hit, and it's a sad one: Schlager singer Margot Eskens has died two weeks shy of her 86th birthday.

Cause of death: severe dementia.

https://esc-kompakt.de/schlager-und-esc-ikone-margot-eskens-ist-tot/

In 1956 and 1957 respectively she had two big No.1 hits in the German charts with "Tiritomba" and "Cindy oh Cindy".

She also represented Germany in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1966 and finished 10th place.

3 hits in 3 weeks - good average! It can go on like this!

He is also on my German theme team but I doubt that he will get a qo.

Looks good suddenly... ahead of the DeathList. Maybe it got too hot for our seniors.

By the way, I see the headlines "Last german playboy"...did we ever have any others?

Gunter Sachs had also been reported as "the last" when he passed. I never really took notice of either him or Rolf Eden before their deaths, so there might be yet more …
