I understand the sentiment and personally concur. However, it's far too open to arguments about how one defines 'capable of making the deathlist', since nobody ever agrees about that in the first place.

'On' the deathlist is of course already in place.

I personally don't think this applies to the world's most famous living astronaut.

So now that Collins is dead, Aldrin is now the only one still alive of the crew to Apollo 11.

So I think he should be in the 2022 list and forward if he is still around when the year ends, so we can have at least one of the Apollo 11 astronauts pn the list Imo.

You're absolutely right.

Aldrin's health is not good.

Mental illness disorders... depression... addiction.

Buzz believed he inherited depression from his family.

Aldrin's mental health struggles led to deeper problems with heavy drinking and alcoholism.

And...

In 2016, he was visiting Antarctica as part of a tourist group when he was evacuated out of the South Pole for his condition deteriorated.

Aldrin seems in very good health for 91 from what I can see.Yes he had issues of addiction and mental illness but he has been sober for many years and depression whilst horrible won`t necessarily increase likelihood of death. That being said Aldrin will be 92 next year and at that age, things can change quickly. For now though I think he is doing quite well still.
