Now this is a thread that surely doesn’t need to exist

Mr Belvedere fans when they find out Bob Uecker is the only cast member from the tv show with a thread.

Don't think he's well enough known in the UK.

I don't recognize him (As well as many other of these celebs that aren't internationally famous, especially musicians, as I'm not a large fan of music and musicians seem to never die) but looks so rough I don't have any problem with the thread. From what I've now read from a few sources I got the picture that he's the Murray Walker of MLB?

Even a North American thinks it's unnecessary.

Maybe it's just the Russian spelling of Boris Becker and an age adjustment for Vodka consumption a bit less than the 7/1 attributed to dogs? :P

He’s in the WWE hall of fame purely for his appearances at WM3 & 4, may be acknowledged in the Sun

I'm starting to feel sorry for Arghton. I can only imagine his response each time each time we get a new thread.

That said - there are not enough threads for people with a U as their surname. Looking at the thread list, there's just two. For that reason alone, I say keep the thread. :D

That'll be threads for Derek Underwood, Ian Ure and Ulitzer by the weekend then. :D

He's easily as famous as Bill Gates' dad.

Iona Opie's 75% may take some beating though.

Isao Aoki (78 year old golfer) matches it.

Iain Lee  gets close at 71%.

I feel this has theme team potential.

Team name maybe ‘Will They Meet a Vowel End This Year?’

This made me wonder why there are no "X" surname threads and I realized that there actually is: Xi Jingping's surname is not Jingping, it's Xi

Today is (un)officially Bob Uecker Day, you'll be chuffed to discover. Hopefully Bob will be around to see his/my beloved Brewers win their first ever World Series this October. But I fear they will not, as they'd likely have to beat either the Dodgers or Giants just to get there.
