Congratulations that will increase the out pool by about 14 or 15 names.

@gcreptile less than half the players are in a winning position but only just.

15?! This game is incredible.

So:

Captain Hemlock - 14 outs (19.4% chance)

Death by Arsenic - 13 outs (18%)

Arghton - 11 outs (15.3%)

Rover - 8 outs (11.1%)

Toast - 5 outs (6.9%)

Time - 5 outs (6.9%)

Captain Chorizo - 4 outs (5.5%)

Chilean Way 3.5 outs (4.9%)

Perhaps - 3 outs (4.2%)

Buffalo Phil - 3 outs (4.2%)

Spade - 1.5 outs (2.1%)

Banana - 1 out (1.4%)

msc - 0 outs (0% - in a position to win but any "out" puts somebody else over the top on countback)

This is purely based on numbers, not on dodderyness of picks.

As I'm sure Biblio will remind us, any non-winning score for you would put you back in the game!

Louise Fletcher is @Toast second unique hit but she only has one other unique so James Sikking will be added to all her Olympians as possible winning hits.

I think to win with your only three uniques would be a remarkable achievement.

Oooh!  I knew I'd got her, but hadn't really thought about uniques.

Seems I do have another unique pick - Bud Daley in the baseball category.

To think there was a time when there were only five on the list and they were all mine

Or was that last time? :scratchhead:

ETA Yes!  msc was the first to be in pole position in this round.

It's alright, I remember when I was "favourite" with 8 of the 17 possible outs! Now it's 8 of 74 and my odds have lengthened somewhat.

@msc moved into a winning position on 11th October last year after Bob Herron died.

Will this game end less than a year after that milestone?

Doesn't even bring up any new ways of winning but congrats to @Toast & @DeathByArsenic who both score. It is da's second hit which means everyone has at least two hits apart from @YorkshireBanker who is yet to score

Robert Brown is a unique hit for @BuffaloPhil which means two more outs are added to the main list

Billy Hunter in Baseball and Mario Ghella in Olympians

Now it is possible that Mario Ghella may have been dead at the beginning of the game by quite some margin

So in order to cash that particular chip I will need to see an English obituary that is dated later than 1st April 2021.

Game is still on
