The Deathlist Poker Tournament 2021

We have several former players missing in action.

Now while this is amazing news for those playing and wishing to improve their positions on previous years, it would be a shame to lose some loyal customers. And not to gain some new ones. Shove a team in, why don't you?

Oh I fully agree so I really hope your post  succeeds in enticing and tempting them!

It's a great pool.

I'm in. 10 minutes spent cobbling together a list of the most obvious names known to deadpooling. Just as well there are no uniques in this game!

Thanks YoungWillz for hosting this again.

Well, the clock has ticked round and the game is live.

Masterlist is up on page 1. Check your teams!

Two fewer entries than last year, only to be expected in a pandemic.

Good luck everybody!

Looks like Jeanette Altwegg, a pick for @YorkshireBanker, died back on the 18 June.

Accordingly, under the rules, she is ruled out and first substitute Betty Boothroyd takes her place. No recollection of this having happened before once the game started.

Not the slowest start, but the slowest start since 2017. Swamy has a heart attack (possibly brought on by the thought of being picked here) and becomes the first official faller.

gcreptile hits an A - 5 Additional Points.

Reigning champ Perhaps had him as a sub and draws 4 Hearts for 4 Points.

Interesting that it's not the Covid, nor the Parkinson's, nor infections or whatever, but cardiac arrest. This man was sick of everything.

Just when you think you can have a cup of tea and a biscuit and relax in your leatherette manager's chair...

An obit has come rolling down the road for former Brian Auger and the Trinity member Rick Laird. A hit for gcreptile, Banana, Captain Chorizo and also for first time hitters msc and Joey Russ.

Captain Chorizo has 3 hits already and takes the lead.

No bonuses, leaderboard updated.
