I've never heard of those three - but a quick google of each of them shows that they aren't nobodies! I don't consider what I know to be a criteria, they're clearly famous :) There's undoubtedly some that would moan about picks like that if it was on the main Deathlist, but I'm not one of them right now

I do have a lot of little niche passions and know nothing about sports or sporting people.  I know nothing about popular culture and was born deep in the first half of the 20th century so I think I have a peculiar sense of fame forged by the Truman and Eisenhower eras.

That's perfectly fine, send it whenever you want - deaths may only count after you submit it though

Thanks for your interest

I have just private  messaged  you my team.

Quite a few of my names could be uniques for other players in other pools like the DDP  so I thought it best to send privately out of fairness to others and to avoid making enemies who create a voodoo doll of me to stick pins in kind of thing!!

Many thanks @John Key :)

I am mildly annoyed with the timing of Betty White's death, might wait a day before major renovations - but all your first sub will count unless otherwise specified! Feel free to request anything through comments :)

Timing isn't of the essence with this one anyway - late submissions are welcomed, late edits/changes are considered to a point!

All people that PM'd me will be added to the masterlist at the same time as I put everything else into motion.

Good luck all, and happy new year!

@TQR Malcolm Hebden  could well turn out to be a good shout by you in my opinion.

I am surprised he hasn't been mentioned a bit more on here to be honest.

Potentially! Though I thought Eileen Derbyshire was a decent shout when I first picked her. Which was 2017. Spiteful old cow is still breathing though :D

Gary Burgess died on the afternoon on the 1st of January, making it the first death that I'm aware of - I wanted to discuss my reasoning (and this made me put the time everyone posted on the masterlist, in inconvenient-for-everyone-else NZ timing). I'm also new to this so wanted to start by sharing scores, but I might not be so active in changing the scoreboard "live" as time goes on.

Scored with Gary Burgess:

MariNisia

Book

Annami - posted their list at my 5:46AM, which is before midnight British and well before the afternoon.

gcreptile - made me think. Their post would have been in the British afternoon, right when he was dying. It wasn't announced straight away.
A little bit of sleuthing through their profile found Gary Burgess was in one of their DDP lists, I think. I didn't look much deeper to see if gcreptile had posted any other lists.  I'm of full mind to give gcreptile the point, @gcreptile just for paperworks sake did you have Gary Burgess posted on any other lists submitted earlier than the afternoon of the 1st? I don't think your answer will change me giving you the full points for this, but it might look better!

Oh, I've had him in pretty much everything. DDP teams submitted on the 29th. Death By Numbers team finalised on Dec 15th, Deathrace joker submitted on the 30th. etc...
