She looks like Bill Clinton's Granny.

Looks like an upset Hal Holbrook realizing that he's wrinklier than ever...

Nichelle Nichols should be on the list ASAP. If you haven't been following her health issues of late. She shouldn't have more than a year or two left.

Vin Scully is another very good pick. Not sure it will happen in 2022, but he won't make 100.

That would be a great pick! Big name in science, 94 next year and has been looking like he's in a state of decomposition for years.

Also a great candidate to inherit Pri ce Philip's casual racist title

Bill Russell has been looking increasingly more frail over the past few years.

I can see all of these being considered bar Shalit and Scully who IMO don’t feel famous enough in the Uk to feel deathllisty.

Vin Scully another on the long list of very-American-centric celebs I know only because classic Simpsons used to riff on them. See also Lyndon LaRouche and the guy from Matlock (though the last one might be my age showing).

Godard is a thought. Though hate to say it. Birkin and Bardot. Just all of an age.

Whoops error on my part. I didn't spot his date of death on a quick Google search and by that I didn't see Wikipedia. Thank you!

Just to note the reaction to this one, @Bibliogryphon, I think Banana means the American sports star, not our Sir William.

Although the actor William Russell is also much frailer now than he was pre-lockdown and would probably make a good DL pick, alas.

Are you sure they didn't mean Willy Russell author of Blood Brothers?

That would be correct, I thought there’d might be some confusion.

Three names I'd not be at all surprised to see make DL debuts next year on the "feels DL-y and old enough" protocol: Rupert Murdoch, Don King, Hans Blix.
