Her plane had to circle at Aberdeen due to fog. Can you imagine the political carnage if it had crashed?!

Landed. I'd say Boris was crossng his fingers. "Oh no guess I'll have to stay until they sort out another contest"

Well she managed to make Priti Patel resign so that's one thing.

Only to replace her with Suella Braverman who makes Priti look like a saint in comparison.

An incompetent whackjob replaced by a calculating one. I agree: not a good upgrade.

And Cleverly at the Foreign Office: Boris, Raab, Truss and now Cleverly! Is it any wonder we're a laughing stock when these people are appointed our top diplomat?

It's been absolutely tipping down in Downing Street, with Liz supporters getting drenched as they await her speech to the country.

Yes, all those Tory MPs in the rain. I'll leave it to Terry Thomas.

A speech entirely detached from reality. What a promising start.

The air horn in the background had more substance, reassurance and integrity.

Can't stand politicians. All rich lying snakes. However, maybe we should be somewhat grateful that our PM can speak a proper sentence, unlike that clown the Americans are having to suffer.

17 Cabinet ministers appointed, including Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, Leader of the House of Lords and Minister-without-Portfolio and we still don't have a Secretary of Education. Nice to see we're a priority.

On the plus side, Badenoch's been appointed to International Trade, so that's one bullet dodged.

I think saying the opposite would be in bad taste.
