I smell for 2023:

Alain Delon

Amartya Sen

Buzz Aldrin

Charlie Munger

Elon Musk

George Soros

Kanye West

Tina Turner

What credible evidence is there to think that Elon Musk will die next year?

Yeah Whale needs to go up the top along with Vialli if they make it that far.

I think at least one of Pele, Whale or Vialli won’t make New Years Day.

I think it's time for the DeathList to have three no. 1 spots.

It's more than likely going to be the other way around. Vialli has a couple of days left at most from what I am hearing and Pele could go at any time surprised he hasn't already.

With the greatest respect to the great footballer and manager that Gianluca Vialli was, if Pele and him are both alive on the first of January then even Gianluca himself would not dispute that Pele should be higher up the list.

As for James Whale he’s almost repugnant enough to go in the 50 spot.

Vialli was a better player than Pele tbh, the latter only ever succeeded playing against teams of anaemic part-timers in the Brazilian regional leagues.

Ryuichi Sakamoto is a big name, not to be left out. Didn't know he had cancer again.

Why him ? Did I miss something ?

Historic drug problems, homelessness, victim of multiple assaults over the past few years, serious mental health risks.

Personally don't think he belongs on the list though.

Norman Lear who was basically the most powerful man in the Television in the 70s is now 100 years old and in 2023 will be 101. Carl Reiner who worked with him on a lot of things was a deathlist hit in 2020. Norman is probably the most famous person over 100 right now.
