Town Called Malice appears to be the biggest yo-yoer this round. It’s also the only shite song left and has been for a while.

That sir, is your opinion.

Mine differs, there are two shite songs left and that isn't even one of them :P.

Yet other opinions are available...... (quite clearly)

In my opinion Town Called Malice / Precious (double A side) was the best Jam single. Also I quite like Total Eclipse and think Come on Eileen should still be in this. However there were some much better songs released in this period that didn't make no 1:

Dire Straits - Romeo and Juliet

Chas n Dave - Ain't no pleasing you

Ultravox - Vienna

Meat Loaf and Cher - Dead Ringer for Love

Joan Jett - I love rock n roll

Jon & Vangelis - I'll find my way home

Depeche Mode - the meaning of love

Marvin Gaye - Sexual Healing

to name a few

My favourite Jam song is That's Entertainment.  Although Down In The Tube Station At Midnight is a masterpiece.

The most interesting thing about this round is that TQR and I vote for a song together - only this time in the same direction!

He and I concur on a huge range of tracks but if he's ever voted for that dratted total eclipse you and old lady are welded to I'm putting him in the stocks on an Essex village green and pelting him with overpriced groceries.

Turn around bright eyes.
In the direction of 6th place.

She knows she sounds like a screech owl.  Look at the video, she EMBRACES that fact!

The Hillsborough tribute. Lots of charity get togethers made it to the top in the 80s - The Crowd (edited off TOTP repeats because Rolfs in it), Ferry Aid, Band Aid, USA for Africa...

We could do a KoS game with DL users’ birthday no.1s…for those comfortable revealing their age, anyway.

Spice Girls - Wannabe FTW!

I'm not comfortable with revealing my birthday online. Nothing to do with age, it's security issues.  It's surprising how much information people give away about themselves on forums and social media, data that can be harvested.

I realise that this would only expose the week of my birthday, but I'm not going there.  Whenever I have to give a date of birth online I give my next door neighbour's DOB.  :)
