I am honestly staggered that T’Pau isn’t right at the top of the list. 5 weeks at No.1 (and topped loads of European charts), consistently does well in music polls, and for my money I can’t think of a single better power ballad. Carol Decker deserves better!

Some may not agree, but JaJaJacJacJaJaJack Your Body is absolutely essential! I love reading about breakthrough moments in pop culture, and this very much was that for house music. It doesn't always get the respect it deserves. The video's great too, as long as you close your eyes during the minstrel show parts.
