They can be accessed via the new topics bar.

Where is that exactly? I see a "topics" section on the right side but none of those names.

Sonny Rollins is a very good pick, God knows how he is still alive.

Duvall and Linden are still doing very well, seems too early.

We said that with Betty White and look how she ended up

Difference being that Betty White was near 100, while Duvall and Linden are in their early 90s

Linden starred in an off-Broadway play this summer and still does plenty of long interviews (September/October). If someone had said in 2013 Betty White was likely going to die after she'd spent a year doing all that, they would rightfully be side-eyed.

All 6 seem sensible. Some seem just... old... but sometimes that's all you need, while Sakamoto and Taylor I know have cancer. I regret not putting Taylor on my list personally, so definitely a good pick.

Pele is no longer showing up as a member of the 2023 DL on the main page. (His obit had his 2023 spot, ala Betty White last year.)

So now I'm going to be really curious to find out who is number 36!

Pele was only going to be number 36? I would have thought he was going to be top 10.

Yeah, I thought he'd be number one tbh. Shows what I know!

I think this year's been a success. Some we have missed like all years. Roll on 2023 I think we're in for some notable cadavers.

Yeah, 14/50 is a decent score and the list had several big name hits.

FFS! I can believe you put *person* on and left *other person* off. What were the committee thinking, the hopeless know-nothings...

Obviously I've not actually looked at it yet, just getting in early with the moaning and whinging.

I would say decent is the right word. Not near the record but the names were huge.

5 minutes until the list goes live. It's been a pleasure listing with you folks these last few years. Long may it continue

Sakamoto and Rollins were definitely misleads, this list looks very safe for the most part
