Whilst it is early stage in both instances the breast cancer is recurrent and throat cancer is one of the more dangerous types in terms of risk of spread and prognosis.

Seems safe for this and probably next but one to keep a very close eye on.

I think the breast cancer is the one to watch. Her throat cancer is said to be stage 1 which has a 90% five year survival rate. While her breast cancer is early it has an habit of being hard to always get rid off.

Didn’t she announced her breast cancer back in September ?

I am pretty sure she announced some sort of illness a few months ago, yeah.

Pretty sure I red that elsewhere 4-5 months ago. I can’t find it though

Are you perhaps thinking of her missing Wimbledon last year due to covid?

God, what's with all the new threa- oh, wait, this time it's legitimate.

Seriously though, not really anything to care for 2024's list unless more news comes in by the looks of it, perhaps not even 2025.

Edit: Read up in this thread, if it's recurrent I think I'll take that statement back...

I’m sure it was cancer. Did another tenniswoman announced breast cancer last year ?

She should be a expert on women’s breasts and throats.

Forget concrete or clay; cancer does best on grass, 6 feet above its opponent.

It’s sort of recurrent. Her first breast cancer was DCIS so it’s not cells from that returning. Maybe she has a genetic form of breast cancer.

I think the latter is how one catches HPV, which is what she has. In fact Michael Douglas was quite outspoken about that.
