Either way, hugely tragic loss. My parents each have an airtag on their keys now. Also my mum knows where my dad is due to iphone tracking. Grim Up North 3,725 Posted June 10 He set off at 1:30 local time, it’s about a mile to where he was found dead, admittedly over mountainous terrain but time of death given as 4pm - I wonder what time CCTV of him collapsing was as the timeline suggests he was there alive for a while within a few 100 metres of people. That explains why his wife said that "he so very nearly made it" . Still, if he dropped dead of a heart attack or an aneurysm or anything like that it's doubtful he could have been saved, given the remoteness of the place.
