I am flattered, but I have no idea what it is supposed to represent. I did not really join this forum with much thought regarding its raison d'etre. I mean a silly avatar and a meaningless monicker. I should have called myself something more pugnacious like 'The Angel of Death!' or perhaps 'The Sesquipedalian Slayer', but I have always suffered from an esprit de l'escalier

I find Ejiit's renascible and sempiternal avatar fascinating.

Size doesn't matter, or so I'm told. :pop:

Isn't that what an Imodium pill is supposed to do, move you?

Actually it was called 'Pill Man' on the web site I nicked it off. I was looking for one that represented Tall, Dark and Handsome as I am in reality short, light and ugly. It amused me at the time, but now I think it looks atrocious.

Taking that quote out of context reminds me of my ex-wife.

Since Amanda brought up the subject, I might mention that I have always found Joscos avatar slightly annoying.

That's probably not a bad thing in an Avatar because it makes it memorable.

My favourite is Eejit's.

Just had a quick rummage through our medicine tin and the brand of Imodium tablets we have are dark green and purple. Any doctors in the house to say what type of tablets are green and pale yellow?

PS - for all the those of us who don't know one end of a java from your elbow, my Avatar is a simple microsoft paint file - page re-sized to be the maximum 96 pixles square and a block of text added in the middle. Then I think saved as a .jpeg image file type.

Note to Amanda - if I can do it, so can 75% of anyone with a computer!

Looking at your Avatar Mr Josco, gives me an unpleasant feeling of hung-overness.

Whoever designed it is clearly a genius. And you have the added and possibly unexpected bonus that it makes you attractive to women. Well, certain women anyway.

Go on, give her the 2000 quid! You won't regret it.

Mr Notapotato

A few well placed (and deserved) compliments will not make me succumb to the requests of certain lucripetous members.

PS can we refer to you as Nonspud in future?

This is all getting a bit silly now!

Moved back to Gloucestershire again... pervy boss offered to make it worth my while in new position and was quite insistent, so have legged it back to old place. Bit of a cock up all round. Now skint, unemployed and mightly p'ed off.

Can you share the position with us?

Basically, he offered to shag my brains out to pay off my debts and became quite persistent and irritating. He made it blatantly obvious as to why I was employed and made it obvious to everyone else, when I just wanted to get on with my job! If people want to do that for a living then that's up to them, I'm just not like that. And I felt unsafe in his presence and worrying that he was following me, etc etc, and decided best to do a runner.
