Well, I looked at two Russ Meyer, one's a director died in 2004 and another is an actor, only credited in one movie on IMDb and he died on my birthday in 1997.

IYG, my mouse died on my birthday* and I've never quite come to terms with it. I hope you have managed to move on following what must have been devastating news.

* This was a long time ago, pre-Death List, but I suspect he would not have been classed as famous enough anyway

I can imagine, this is only some D list actor if any but your mouse, I'm sorry for your loss.

I found out a while ago that the great Actor William Holden died 4 years exactly before I was born, maybe I'm his reincarnation. They die, go to heaven, finish the booze and come back as something else. <_<

Poet Sylvia Plath topped herself on the very day that I was born, so ... who knows? Can't say I'm a fan of her work though.

56 years before the day I was born, the Krakatoa volcano blew itself to pieces, destroying most of the island and causing the loudest-ever sound in recorded history.

Next birthday is number 56.

I wonder..... :huh::D

Did you know that The Simpsons character Roger Myers, owner of Itchy & Scratchy Studios, and featured in what I would submit as the best ever episode

http://www.snpp.com/episodes/3F16.html

was named from a combination of schlock horror director Roger Corman and soft core purveyor Russ Meyer?

Bugger-all else happened on my birthday (1st December 1964): Apparently Malta joined the UN, and the aircraft carrier, HMS Eagle "sailed for the far eastern fleet with Buccaneers of 800 squadron, Scimitars of 800b squadron, Wessex AS of 820 squadron, Gannets AEW of 849D sqd. and Sea Vixens of 899 squadron".

Thank God for Google to shed these lights on one's place in the cosmos...makes you feel quite humble really

Apparently Verne Gagne defeated Mister M (Bill Miller) in Minneapolis, MN to win the American Wrestling Association (AWA) World Heavyweight Title on my birthday.

Prez John F. Kenndy signed Executive Order 11045, and thus shockingly discontinued the Guam Island Naval Defensive Sea Area and the Guam Island Naval Airspace Reservation and had a conversation with Robert McNamara at 10:14 A.M. The Cuban missile crisis was in full swing at that time.

I'm confident that the readership of this forum will be thrilled to bits to learn that I share my d.o.b. with H.R.H. Princess Lalla Meryem of Morocco and Bruce Charles Mason and that film director Richard Garrick snuffed it that day.

The WWW is soooo exciting.

regards,

Hein

Gengis Khan died on the same day I was born.

That makes you 777 years old.

Are you sure you shouldn't be written about on the Death List site, rather than contributing?

Sorry, Date!!!!

Still 777 years is a considerable age, so I am sure you can forgive an old man the odd typo.

Well I was born on the day that Reggie Kray was sentenced, and Prince Maximilian of Liechtenstein was born. And a soviet spacecraft crashed into Venus. Oh, and famous cricketers David Ligertwood and David Gillett were born that day too.

And from history:

1795: Treaty of Basel

1866. Root Beer invented

1891: Spam appears in shops for the first time.

1985: Pope John-Paul II visits Belgium

Can anyone beat that for inconsequential-ness?

You mean your birth eclipsed such world-shattering events like the New York Yankees beating Washington Senators 10-3 at Robert F. Kennedy Stadium, the death of the Blessed Gianna Beretta Molla or Ray Charles playing the 3,450 seat Donnelly Memorial Theater and bringin in $18,000 for two performances?

Hein
