Paul Bearer 6,104 Posted June 19, 2005 I came across this site by accident. You people are SICK IN THE HEAD ! Sitting here betting on when someone will die ? ? ?Especially such a unique American Icon like Charlton Heston. I LOVE HESTON. He is THE original cigar. CANNOT BE DUPLICATED. You people are a sad case and just remeber - everyone dies - Including you .. your time will come just like anyone else ! I hate to say this but ... Hopefully it will come sooner than later ! 1. We are not betting on when someone will die 2.I suppose Heston is alright, in his own way 3.We know we will all die sometime 4. Bugger off and accidentally find another website

Guest Jaime P M Oliveira Posted July 14, 2005 I am an admirer of Mr C Heston´s work since 1962 when I saw Ben- Hur for the first time. I already had the oportunity to read some of his books. The best one, in my opinion is "In The Arena ". I have also written to him and he has always given his kindly answer. So, it is at least an outrage when we can read such dirty things about him . Everyone has the right of an opinion and a believe and he has his.

Well, lets see - he gave you a kindly answer, but if you repeated the kind of eulogistic tosh that you have regaled us with he's hardly going to disagree or be rude, is he? Everyone has the right of an opinion and a belief (see look - spelling and everything) but it just happens that his are wrong
Clive's NOT Dunn 7 Posted July 15, 2005 I came across this site by accident. Unfortunate choice of verb. Next time try visualising an image of Thora Hird to avoid such accidents.

Guest 2smurt2bpstindissrethere Posted July 15, 2005 i got on this site by accident. what a bunch of cruel jerks. don't worry, i won't be back. Bye then. (Not intelligent enough to spell his name correctly or use recognisable grammar) Thats cute. Lots of people with super-sensitivity to differing opinions. And forum patriotism! How sweet. (Not intelligent enough to spell his name correctly or use recognisable grammar) Thats cute. Cute, and an accurate observation. One may expect a person calling himself (of herself) 'toointeligentforthissite' to be able to use proper English spelling and grammar. Many people of average intelligence manage that. Bloody hell, even I do. regards, Hein

Guest funeral director Posted July 20, 2005 How is Mr Heston doing these days? That is a good question. Heston turned 80 this year and like Doohan has been suffering w/ Alzheimers for at least 3 years, diagnosed in 2002. But assuming something else doesn't get him (e.g. heart attack), he could be like Ronnie Raygun and survive 10 years in a vegetative state!
Guest DeathLister Posted July 21, 2005 I hereby predict that Charlton Heston's death will occur sometime between September 2005 and December 2007. I'll be baffled if he sees 2008.
GracieJc8 3 Posted July 21, 2005 I hereby predict that Charlton Heston's death will occur sometime between September 2005 and December 2007. I'll be baffled if he sees 2008. Was searching the IMDB forum on Heston for any news regarding his health. Someone wrote a post from March saying that an Irish newspaper was quoted as saying that Charlton Heston's health is deteriorating rapidly from Alzheimers Disease. Heston reportedly was spending all of his time confined to his home in LA in bed.He has some good days, but seldom recognizes family members and his wife Lydia is at his side constantly. The article mentions that Nancy Reagan has been a source of great comfrot to Mrs. Heston as she herself has been through this same situation.
