Pope John Paul

Apparently Nostradamus said the Pope would die on December 13th. Which pope or indeed which December 13th, he wasn't good enough to specify but I always stay close to a television news channel on that date just in case.

Not to get off the point of his hol(e)yness, but I viewed a special of Nostradamus on TLC and supposedly, he predicted 9/11 and a whole lotta other stuff that all came true, so doubting his power is not something I'm going to do...

Can you imagine living at the time of Nostradamus and doubting him?

"(Bob)-Just between you and me man, I think this whole 'predicting the future' stuff is all a load of bull. Who can tell whats gonna come in the future? No one, that's who.

(Nostradamus picks up his book and starts to write.)- I predict... that Bob will die a most painful death... t-o-m-o-r-r-o-w..."

 please help me...

I remember another TV program about 15 years ago about Nostro's predictions.

9/11 wasn't among them.

But we'd all be a barren nuclear wasteland by now.

Amazing isn't it ?

Yeti - of course there was no mention of Nostro's 9/11 prediction in a TV show you watched 15 years ago - that was only officially added to his list of prophecies in 2002...

Also I must be tired or something...Ron P's post really had very little effect on me when I first read it - but thanks to GreenEye, I realise I must have overlooked a real gem...I'm gonna go back and reread...I'm sure sooner or later I will agree that it's the best line Ive read in a year too...;)

They embalmed him, waxed him, and put him in a class coffin on display in St. Peter's Cathedral, Rome.

I just want the guy to die already. He's prevented the church from evolving....kept it in the medieval age...part of the reason why my generation doesn't give a sh*t about the church anyway

Actually, he's not really the Pope, as that's only an 'informal' title. In full, he's ...

Bishop of Rome, Vicar of Jesus Christ, Successor of the Prince of the Apostles, Supreme Pontiff of the Universal Church, Patriarch of the West, Primate of Italy, Archbishop and Metropolitan of the Roman Province, Sovereign of the State of the Vatican City, Servant of the Servants of God

:D

Ahhh a 4:25am spoof posting - havent seen one of those for a while.

The accidental hitting of the 'b' key twice when going for the 'n' key in trying to type "announcement" is a bit of a giveaway - Im sure its a dodgy keyboard and not those 12 pints beforehand...

Would be rather weird to drop dead on the same day as he was appointed !

About the same chance of dying on your birthday.

I have to laugh at all you people who always predict that His holiness the Pope is about to die..he will live for many years to come and will probably outlive the grim reaper himself!Take him off the death list because your all going to get very bored waiting for the pope to die..it wont happen for many many years to come i confidently predict

The poor old bugger probably died years ago and a pope-like double is doing a fantastic job in his place! :(
