Are Robert Wagner, Russ Tamblyn, and Pat Boone the last leading men from the 50s?

American actor Earl Holliman (Wikidead at 96

Everywhere FB tributes from his family members, press is coming

A face and name that's only vaguely familiar to me, but regardless, lived a life that made for a very interesting Wiki read. Was once so sickly they reckoned he wouldn't survive childhood. Safe to say he defied that prediction! Seems like he was a genuinely nice guy too. Vegetarian, fed the homeless and campaigned for animals.

@Gooseberry Crumble is going to be gutted.

Star of the first proper Twilight Zone episode.

I am gutted.  Very easy on the eyes back in the day and someone who was definitely  going to appear in some of my teams next year minus the DDP as I doubt  he'd  have been a  juicy unique  pick and I've  really got my mind and heart focused on finally getting 60 unique picks this time.

Rest in peace to a special  part of my eye candy memories .

Earl Holliman was the last surviving cast member of Forbidden Planet.

That's assuming that Jimmy Thompson (IMDb, born 1923) is deceased. He seems to have faded into obscurity.

Re-read my post, and if it still doesn't make sense use Google Translate.

Jacqueline White (Wiki) turned 102 today!

She may not have had the fame of Ava Gardner, Eleanor Parker or Doris Day, but she still remains one of the most beloved and unfortunately the last actresses from the Golden Age of Classic Hollywood and from 1922 class. Here are some photos on her 102nd birthday, she looks very good in my opinion, she still continues to sign autographs (a few days ago)

Fun Fact: I read somewhere that she was chosen to play Old Rose in Titanic (1997), but she turned it down because she had retired from acting in the 1950s when she was still young, so her role went to the legend Gloria Stuart (who was also her friend)

Yes, a bit strange; he had his own singing number in the most famous musical movie of his time (albeit uncredited) and then nothing more is known about him.

I once read in a blog entry a few years ago that he had recently died, but of course not in a way that could really be verified. There are probably quite a few people called James Thompson.

In a weird way it's oddly specific but also not specific enough to give us any level of confirmation that he actually died when this person said he did...

Do you feel the need to leave an inane, pointless comment on every thread on here?
