Fred Willard has died at the age of 80 according to a tweet by Jamie Lee Curtis. Unless I’m reading it very wrong

She’s married to Christopher Guest who directed him in Best In Show etc. So it makes sense she’d know.

Real shame, he was tweeting until a few days ago about the loss of Little Richard and Jerry Stiller.

Seen most recently as Phil’s dad in Modern Family

This year is really going up to an 11.

”Then why not make 10 even bigger?”

This year goes to 11.

Massive, massive loss as far as I'm concerned. Gonna watch both Best In Show and A Mighty Wind tomorrow:

You'd think 10 would be loud enough for Gooseberry.

Quite “shocked” to read this (I know, I know, he was 86 but still).

I always associated him as being an actor who was quite active in his later years but I guess I am thinking about 10 years ago.

I met him in Vegas a couple of years ago, nice bloke, sad to see him go. It was the time OSPjr was into WALL-E, he couldn't believe we had our photo taken with Shelby Forthright.

Twitter is reporting the death of Kevin Chamberlin, who played Bertram on the TV series Jessie, at age 56. Chamberlin is the second cast member of the show - which ran from 2011 to 2015 - to die. Last year, series co-star Cameron Boyce died suddenly at age 20.

I’ve only seen a few tweets so unless there’s more news I’m not sure how legit it is. If it’s true though, it’s definitely a sad loss...

Yeah, the two accounts who tweeted his death look to be very low follower accounts. I’ll believe it if more news come out, but at this point looking like a hoax.

Found a tweet which seems to indicate Arnold "Rusty" Pouch died back in 2019:

Seems to have been in various roles on numerous films behind the scenes, but we will always have him on film as the proprietor of Al's Gator City in Flight Of The Navigator:

Neibaur is probably as reliable a source you'll get for performers of some vintage. If he says she's dead, she dead.
