So sad, RIP Raquel! Did she have cancer?

Love her on Legally Blonde!

Brief illness so could be but more likely something else.

Feel Raquel's death isn't getting the traffic on here it deserves. Regularly voted in top 100 lists of sexiest women. Here's a few images to spark a bit of interest and debate.

RIP Raquel - I never knew you but you looked amazing!

Stella Stevens, who had a long Hollywood career and co-starred with the likes of Elvis Presley and Jerry Lewis, has died. She was 84. A DDP pick, too.

Had been mentioned on forum as a good tip in recent years by @Lord Fellatio Nelson and @Gooseberry Crumble (now there's a double act!) as she was in a care home with dementia.

Sad news. Gene Hackman , Pamela Sue Martin and Eric Shea the last three  left from the Poseidon Adventure now. Would be a fairly big surprise if Hackman is not the next one to go.

Great loss, I loved him in SVU

I haven't seen anything from NBC, his co-stars, Variety, Deadline, or Hollywood Reporter. When my mentor died Deadline had an obituary up within 30 minutes, and he was incredibly minor in comparison.

I’m Facebook friends with comedy writer Tom Leopold, who was close to him. He confirmed that it’s true

Then why haven't literally any of the major outlets reported it? Doesn't make sense to me. We've seen nothing from any reputable sources.

Yeah it’s weird. I’m not really sure why anyone is reporting yet

The John Munch character is one of the most fascinating in television history because of how many shows on which he made at least one appearance, and therefore how many TV universes are interconnected because Det. Munch existed in it. The Munch character originated on Homicide: Life on the Street, moved to L&O:SVU when Homicide was canceled and appeared on Law & Order, L&O: Trial by Jury, The X Files, Arrested Development, The Wire, 30 Rock, The Beat, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and even Sesame Street (in Muppet form).

Not unusual. It's only been a little over two hours since Laraine Newman's tweet. Howard Hesseman was also announced dead by her and didn't get any confirmed obits until a couple hours later.

And, for other recent examples, Henry Silva was reported dead on twitter for three hours before he got a trade obit. Same with Mickey Kuhn, who was dead online for almost a day before he got anything.

EDIT: Forbes is going with it now.
