According to my sources, i.e imdb and wikipedia, of the credited actors,

Warren Stevens (b 1919)

Richard Anderson (b1926)

Earl Holliman (b1928)

Robert Dix (b1935)

James Drury (b1934)

Richard Grant (b1919)

are the only ones left.

Earl Holliman, 91, is now the last surviving credited cast member of Forbidden Planet following the death of Drury.

There is another member of the credited cast Jimmy Thompson who has no date of birth or death on IMDB.He is probably dead by now but don't know if there's any confirmation of it or not..

I saw that. He hasn't been in any films since the 50s. I imagine he's most certainly dead.

Watched 1998 film Meet Joe Black last night. It was pretty meh.

Turns out the dying Jamaican woman in the film is still alive. She’ll be 103 this year!

Lois Kelly Miller

A few news articles on her online. Also a WWII vet.

Well that was a short lived possibility for next year. :banghead:

Dead as per YW's post in Foreign Personalities.

Faith Dane, actress, artist, LGBT rights activist, musician and serial political candidate in the States, has died aged 96.

Most notably a cast member of BOTH the original Broadway production of Gypsy and the 1962 film (which now only has child actors alive from the notable credited cast).

Brian Dennehy has died. The celebrated actor, whose career includes nearly 200 credited roles, died at age 81, according to TMZ. The report listed his cause of death as natural.
Good actor, good Irishman.
RIP

^^

Probably the crappiest posting of a death of a prolific character actor ever made on this Forum.

I'll probably remember Dennehy best from Cocoon, but he was in seemingly everything from the 1980s.

Hollywood Golden-era actor John Ericson has died aged 93.

Leaves just Angela Lansbury as the sole surviving credited adult cast member of Bedknobs and Broomsticks.

Think he was the last surviving credited cast member of the great Bad Day at Black Rock too.

It's an amazing film. Gripping from start to finish, up there with the best of 50s cinema imo.

Some noteworthy birthdays of Hollywood possibilities from yesterday, seeing as there are none today:

Pat Carroll, probably best known to contemporary audiences as Ursula in the Little Mermaid, is 93.

Lance Henriksen, Bishop in Alien, Vukovich in The Terminator and the voice of Kerchak in Tarzan, is 80.

Sir Michael Palin, who needs no introduction, is 77.

John Rhys-Davies, best known for Gimli and Treebeard in the LOTR films and as Sallah in the Indiana Jones films, is 76.

Kurt Loder, film critic, is 75.

James Caan seems to have deleted this tweet now, so perhaps the wheelchair is no longer as temporary as he initially thought?

Death notice for 1930s child actor Martin Spellman who has died aged 94.

Career was finished by 1941, at which point the U.S. was entering WWII and he enlisted to serve.

Later worked in finance and insurance... well everyone sells their soul eventually.
