Elton John

Recommended Posts

Get your posts in quick guys, Elton's gonna have us all shut down!:

http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2007350453,00.html

"I do think it would be an incredible experiment to shut down the whole internet for five years and see what sort of art is produced over that span."

Yeah, like that's gonna happen, Reg! Will we see:

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage cos Elton John's had it shut down

"I am such a Luddite when it comes to making music. All I can do is write at the piano"

I downloaded all his stuff (over 30 albums) from Bit Torrent over a year ago. I might have to delete it due to running out of space on my hard drive.

I twice booked tickets to see him live - both concerts were cancelled, first one due to him having a pacemaker fitted, second one due to bad ticket sales because people were pissed off he'd cancelled the first one.

However the waddling pug-nosed rug-topped poof does come up with some good soundbites every now and then, so I'm in no particular hurry to see his demise.

I predict he will die a bizzare death which involves a candle in the windpipe, though I won't venture when (I'm not iain!)

I'll wager that it's not his windpipe he puts candles in.

Lard, this thought did occur to me as I formulated my post, but I thought I would leave it to someone with a more depraved mind than myself  to post it! ;)

It is a windpipe of sorts :P

What I meant to say is it is a sort of windpipe. - I blame the French for messing with my word order logic.

A bit off topic, but strangely enough, Mr LB has had to go to the doctor today, and it transpires he has a bowel problem and is going to have to have a camera up his windpipe. I wonder if Elton's ever done that?

I know not, but I wouldn't want to have to see the videos, even for Langham-esque research.

Elton John is an unpatrioctic queer. He come to Philladelphia and sais nothing about the 4th of July instead his free concert he put on turned out to not be a 4th of July concert but a flipping Aids Benefit. I hope he dies soon. I'm sick of his disease and all the other pressing queers like him.

What an idiotic post.

Why should an A.I.D.S. benefit not be held on 4th July?

I couldn't find a topic all for himself, so here it goes: Elton John is in hospital with a "serious respiratory infection". It doesn't sound particularly life-threatening, but there's always hope.

Hein

Watched the Diamond Jubilee Concert and whilst he did not look at Death's door he certainly looked worse than a lot of people who were older than him, Macca, Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey, Cliff Richard, Rolf Harris & The Queen!

Yeh, but what you obviously didn't notice is that it wasn't Elton John at all, they'd substituted him for Blanche off Coronation Street.

According to Diana In Heaven, that wasn't Macca anyway - she says he's been up there since 1966.
