Guest Simfish Posted April 20, 2005 He's in Vietnam which isn't the most industrialized country and is going to be 93 this year. Could he be a possibility for 2006?

Canadian Paul 97 Posted November 30, 2005 Do we have any new ideas on him, now that Westmoreland is gone? (Perhaps Mr. Giap was merely trying to outlast his American counterpart?)

Octopus of Odstock 2,203 Posted September 15, 2006 Giap is 95 Read past the wankfest, and he seems - and looks - to still be quite healthy. He's certainly still actively involved in Vietnamese politics & military issues. For a slightly more balanced report and picture: Giap 95 or here I think it's important, as we throw candidates in for DL, DDP & CPDP, to possibly think about some candidates who are - possibly likely to carry on for a while, despite their great age. maryportfuncity 10,657 Posted November 25, 2007 Wiki Page, assuming anyone with a DDP team likely to field the general wanted to check it out. With Giap on your side there's a fair chance many other members of the team will be ordered into horribly dangerous situations in which they are likely to die horrible deaths.
