maryportfuncity 10,657 Posted October 24, 2006 Abbatoir song by And The Native Hipsters, sometime John Peel favourites. Well funny, unless you're a vegetarian, or summat.
maryportfuncity 10,657 Posted October 29, 2006 The Cremation of Sam McGee classic poem, Youtubed, might go well with a few regular DL'ers.
Godot 149 Posted November 7, 2006 This site doesn't have much detailed information but at least it's trying to garner news on presenters, people like Shaw Taylor, discussed earlier this year. On reflection it's pretty useless, few dates, quite a few missing faces but there may be the odd spark of inspiration there. Vincent Kane, for example, is worth looking at. maryportfuncity 10,657 Posted November 8, 2006 Robert Service, the nearest thing he has to an official site. His name was an accident of birth but it served (no pun intended) him well Bruno. Memorable. Given the subject of his best known poems I think the most significant thing about his background is the way he combined romantic notions of the American west with a background in hard work and achievement through effort. maryportfuncity 10,657 Posted November 10, 2006 Judas Cow a site so shamelessly dedicated to mocking the afflicted it could probably offend a majority of right minded people.

in eternum+ 22 Posted November 20, 2006 Whilst attempting to log into the DL, I mistyped the URL name and found this website, which is a portal to many other very interesting websites. A bit American, but mayhep useful nonetheless.

Godot 149 Posted January 3, 2007 http://www.deadoraliveinfo.com/dead.nsf/vi...cs-nf/oldpeople nice link this one its got old people on its lists I notice it has neither Ronald Coase (96) or Joseph Juran (102) on it, both better known and certainly more relevant to society than Ruby F*****g Muhammad. It would be interesting to see how this list performs against the DL.

Magere Hein 1,400 Posted January 5, 2007 Spam?Shouldn't this be relcated to the "Death Links" thread? Done. I still think it has a slightly spammy odour. I had a look at the forum. It doesn't seem to be very alive, with one single post in ten fora. Mr Anubis has made the classic mistake of creating many fora for every imaginable subject, while there is no content yet. regards, Hein
