Abbatoir song by And The Native Hipsters, sometime John Peel favourites. Well funny, unless you're a vegetarian, or summat.

This site doesn't have much detailed information but at least it's trying to garner news on presenters, people like Shaw Taylor, discussed earlier this year. On reflection it's pretty useless, few dates, quite a few missing faces but there may be the odd spark of inspiration there. Vincent Kane, for example, is worth looking at.

The Cremation of Sam McGee classic poem, Youtubed, might go well with a few regular DL'ers.

<Many of GraveRobert Service's poems would go well in this place........odd that his name was Service....was there a hidden meaning there that he didn't want us to know about?

Robert Service, the nearest thing he has to an official site. His name was an accident of birth but it served (no pun intended) him well Bruno. Memorable. Given the subject of his best known poems I think the most significant thing about his background is the way he combined romantic notions of the American west with a background in hard work and achievement through effort.

Judas Cow a site so shamelessly dedicated to mocking the afflicted it could probably offend a majority of right minded people.

Whilst attempting to log into the DL, I mistyped the URL name and found this website, which is a portal to many other very interesting websites. A bit American, but mayhep useful nonetheless.

nice link this one

its got old people on its lists

I notice it has neither Ronald Coase (96) or Joseph Juran (102) on it, both better known and certainly more relevant to society than Ruby F*****g Muhammad.

It would be interesting to see how this list performs against the DL.

Funny that.

We have an Anubis here too.

Could they be related?

There is a new forum for funeral and embalming professionals which gives opportunities to discuss topics related to those professions.

It can be found at http://funerals.smfforfree2.com

Spam?

That is not Anubis The Jackal. The first letter of his name isn't capitalized! Ban him.

Done. I still think it has a slightly spammy odour.

I had a look at the forum. It doesn't seem to be very alive, with one single post in ten fora. Mr Anubis has made the classic mistake of creating many fora for every imaginable subject, while there is no content yet.

regards,

Hein

Had a look myself.

More for funeral directors. Seems quite busy though.
