News that Frank Gorshin who played The Riddler in the original Batman series has died.

 

Makes me wonder how the other Batman villains are getting on and Batman and Robin themselves for that matter - Adam West and Burt Ward. I seem to recall that the Penguin (Burgess Meredith) and the Joker (Cesar Romero) had been zapped! What about the others?

Frank Gorshin ( he played The Riddler in naff tv series Batman ) has died aged 72, he was also a comic / impressionist....

He was quite a character. I already mentioned his death here in the “Near misses for 2005” thread.

Adam West, 76, who played Batman and Burt Ward, 59, who played Robin are still alive.

I actually went over the living/dead list of Batman today as well. Do we have too much spare time on our hands? <_<
