2 days from now, Kane Tanaka will be the 4th oldest person to have ever lived.

2 weeks from now, she will be the 3rd oldest person to have ever lived.

In less than 4 months,, given she lives that long, she will be the first person in 21 years to reach the age of 118.

And in just under 5 years, she'll pass the oldest living person ever - Jeanne Calment.

And in about 79.5 years, she’ll have lived in 3 different centuries, the first to do so since Emma Morano.

80.5 years. Technically speaking the next century starts in 2101 - when Kane Tanaka turns 198 (or whatever's left of her)

And in 1979.5 years, she'll have lived in 3 different millenia, also the first to do so since Emma Morano.

Emma Morano was born in the era of the Vikings?

True. Oh well that's that fucked then, I think that extra year will prove a step too far.

And now she has surpassed Lucy Hannah. In 13 days she will be 3rd oldest person to live, and also the oldest asian to have lived as well

New video of old Kane Tanaka.

Her health has not declined at all since the beginning of 2020. 118 is extremely likely.

Also tied for oldest person from Japan (and the entirety of Asia as well).

As Roaming Comrade mentioned earlier, she is tied 3rd place with Nabi Tajima (1900-2018) as of today. Kane Tanaka also mentioned that she is very willing to surpass 120, however she would be the first person since Jeanne Calment to do so. In 105 days she will be 118 years old, which I think she could easily manage

Kane Tanaka celebrates becoming the oldest Japanese person ever, seemingly in good health:

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/sep/21/woman-117-marks-becoming-japans-oldest-ever-person-with-cola-and-boardgames

Also, she drinks a lot of Coca Cola, so there is hope for me yet.

Correction: I forgot 2020 was a leap year so it is indeed in 100 days time. My milestone related comment was justified afterall :D

the leap year should have no effect on that, since there are no extra days between now and january 2021.
