Unvalidated (by Gerontology Research Group) ones who could be older than Fusa Tatsumi:

Maria Araujo da Silva (b. 1906?) Brazil

Juana Santos Caballero (b. 1906?) Mexico

Justina Santana Xavier da Silva (b. 1907?) Brazil

Maria Branyas Morera (b. 1907?) American-born Spanish, validation pending

S. M. V. (b. 1907?) Mexico. Name is not known.

Wang Zhangwen (b. 1907?) China

2, 3 and 10 look dead already. 5 looks the best out of them all.

Don’t know about dos santos and Tatsumi but Randon is quite healthy : she talked for her birthday, as usual ans recovered from Covid this year, talks, walks, eats properly, she’s just blind, hence her look on here. But I agree that Juinewicz looks the ealthiest here

Randon seems to be in a stable OK condition and she is already in an extrmee age. She could go even more far. However, since her birthday there is not anh new update about her health.

Also, maria branyas morera looks quite well too

The grandmother died because her grandchild said:
"Blow out all the candles on the birthday cake at once".
Too much work.
Poor grandma.

As a few years ago there was a lot of discussion about the last subjects of Queen Victoria, another site had a list of the last subjects of Edward VII. They're all over 111 years old:

1. Phyllis Ridgeway (March 10, 1907 - present)
2. Cecile Klein (June 15, 1907 - present)
3. Lillian Priest (November 7, 1908 - present)
4. Lourdina Conceicao Lobo (December 8, 1908 - present)
5. Gertrude Kingston (February 1, 1909 - present)
6. Mollie Walker (February 5, 1909 - present)
7. Koko Hume Lepot (March 16, 1909 - present)
8. Eslin Mulgrave-Collins (April 2, 1909 - present)
9. Ethel Caterham (August 21, 1909 - present)
10. Rose Eaton (August 23, 1909 - present)
11. Rosalie Wolpe (August 25, 1909 - present)
12. Yvonne Delorme-Martel (October 21, 1909 - present)
13. Dexter Kruger (January 13, 1910 - present)
14. Eloise Chandler (January 21, 1910 - present)
15.  May Willis (March 18, 1910 - present)
16. Melville Williams (February 21, 1910 - present)
17. Margaret Reed (April 20, 1910 - present)

Latest one to die was Nancy Marie of Seychelles, four days ago.

There are also multiple questionable claims such as the likely fraudster Eliza Carrows (b. 1906)

Updated for the deaths of May Willis (20th of June), Margaret Reed (8th of July), Dexter Kruger (20th of July) and Melville Williams (21st of July).

Nine subjects of Edward VII remain, all except one born in 1909.

This thread is useless because we don't really know who is the oldest. There could be people born before 1900 still alive but they don't have birth certificate to prove their real age.

Antonia da Santa Cruz has surpassed Jiroemon Kimura's age (116 years and 54 days), so now there is no man in the top 20 oldest validated persons ever. Back in 2013 when Kimura died, he was 8th oldest ever and now he is 21st.

I'm starting to think he won't live to 113 (8th of August)

113 today, last time a man celebrated his 113th was in July 2018.

:birthday:

Emilio looks much better than last month.

Also, the reason his eyes are not open is because he is blind. Saw  a video of him from around a month ago where he said his name loudly. In a much better condition than I thought.

Fusa Tatsumi is 114 years and 108 days but still not in the top 10 oldest living verified. One decade before, she could be World's oldest verified living person at that age

Wrong : one decade before, Kane Tanaka would have already been the world oldest at the age of 159. She’s unsinkable

Delina Filkins became the oldest verified person ever after surpassing Louisa Thier's age in 1926. She held this title for 54 years (that's a record too) until Fannie Thomas in 1980 surpassed this age.

Jeanne Calment has held the same title for 31 years since surpassing Augusta Holtz's age in 1990.

Today, Delina Filkins is only the... 237th oldest verified person ever and all the living validated female supercentenarians are older.

I really wonder if something like that will also happen someday with Calment.

So in a good condition he's dead.
