James Bond 007 (Connery/Moore/Villains etc)

Recommended Posts

He had prostate cancer in the 90s too.He is a miss on account of fame level and age but was still active throughout 2016.A bit of a Don Rickles type miss.Annoying but many of us wouldnt have wanted them picked if we were on the committee.

Time for a last outing of the old joke.

SPAM - It won't make you James Bond but it will make you Roger Moore.

Was Roger Moore the first actor to play James Bond to die, or just the first actor to play James Bond on film to die?

I always preferred Roger Moore to Sean Connery as James Bond. He lived a long life, but his death made me quite sad.

First "canon" Bond, @Weebl. David Niven and several others from Casino Royale are gone, as is Barry Nelson, Bob Holness, etc etc.

I also prefer Roger Moore to Sean Connery, but then, I got into the films as a kid and find the Moore films more child friendly.

Quote

Molly was the first Bond girl to be seen taking her clothes off on screen in the Bond series.

A true pioneer.

Why doesn't M sack 001, 002, 003, 004, 005, 006, 008 and 009?

Only 007 always wins in the end and gets the girl.

Most of them are in the films, and dead.

That'll be a sad loss if so. Beyond Bond: Sink the Bismarck, Alfie, Carve Her Name With Pride, Educating Rita. Hell of a CV.

According to the original source, he died on 23 February.

Anyway, usual confirmations awaited, blah blah...

I can only think that the BBC ITV the Guardian Daily mirror Daily Mail etc are wanting more concrete confirmation. The guy was a legendary director who directed many classic films.

The Guardian already has an obit for him. Can’t think of why the others hasn’t released an obit yet though...
