As bizarre as this may seem, I think Tanya Roberts death, and subsequent revival, actually portends 2021...

2021 will start off very dark and bleak, but things will get a lot better.

Yeah, here you go.

Yup, and that will likely sum up 2021 as well.  Things turn bleak, then things appear to be on the upswing, and then everything goes downhill again....

Imagine if this turns out to be a falsely reported death as well.

Never Say Never Again!

(Think we've used up all the Bond Title puns on this death alone!)

Live! ... and let die.

And for bonus points, the one Bond film that (arguably) has a character returned from the dead.

D'ya know what, it'd be a corker to have a tweak in the Deathrace rules for just such an eventuality and award points both times someone dies :D

Well I for one was kinda hoping she really wasn't dead. 64 is too young to die. BTW thats not meant to be a James Bond title if it was.

Didn't he do the 7 up series as well?

Never mind - It says that in the bloody headline.

Yep. tbh I had a feeling from the way folk were talking at the last one that he wasn't going to linger around

Very sad news. He directed some of my favorite films, like "Gorky Park" & "Gorillas in the mist".

Many tears will be shed this year. All those beloved celebrities born in the 1930ies are now over 80.

I didn't. Read an interview with Apted from last year where he discussed his own mortality but mentioned that he would like to keep making them for as long as he can.

Whatever it was, must've been quite quick.

Yeah I was trying to remember when Apted was mentioned and found my "hmm, he might not make the next Up film"/Ulitzer "imo he's fine for a decade" comment from last year. tbf, not all forum predictions can be gold! :D

I remember reading the same thing. Definitely sounded like he fancied his chances of making 70 Up, which would, of course, have been the 10th edition. No mention on the BBC report of a cause of death, but must have been fairly quick.

FFS, all the stuff Apted has done and he's lumped in as a James Bond alumnus? (SMFH as someone round these parts is wont to say)
