Michael Foot or Gerald Ford

Recommended Posts

Guest Guest_mike

Gerald Ford and Michael Foot have both recently turned 92..no former party leader or president has ever lived beyond 92 apart from Ronald Reagan who died at 93 and 4 months.its therefore reasonable to assume that Ford and Foot wil b oth be dead within th enext year,so lets have a b it of fun and place some bets on who'll croak first!

Although Ford probably doesn't fly much these days, so that may keep him out of trouble.

I WOULD HOPE THAT THE PRINCIPLED YET INEFFECTIVE AND SCRUFFY SOCIALIST OUTLIVES THE EVIL PARDON GRANTING SECRET WAR FIGHTING EX-PREZ .BUT FOOT IS AN EX SMOKER AND WIDOW WHO HAS NOT BEEN IN THE BEST OF HEALTH FOR YEARS. FORD ON THE OTHER HAND HAS PLAYED A LOT OF FOOTBALL IN HIS TIME (YES ,YES "WITH HIS HELMET OFF"!) SO MY MONEY WOULD RELUCTANTLY BE ON FOOT TO GO FIRST.

AS I ALWAYS SAY WHERE IS LAUREN BACALL. TALENTLESS, IN HER 70/80'S, AND SHOULD BE ON THE LIST.

Last week in Tescos - why?

But if you are being serious - on the news.

Guest DeathLister

As has been noted in these forums, British politicians on the 2005 DeathList - James Callaghan and Edward Heath - have died close to their birthdays. Foot, who turned 92 this month, will die before Gerald Ford, in all likelihood before September the first.

How about we lobby a television company to stage a celebrity boxing match between the two of them? I mean, there's 500 of us on this forum and I bet we'd all get our mates round to watch.

That's a big audience by today's standards.
