Guest Anita Posted May 5, 2007 MIght want to rethink this one...Ernie recently traveled to Alabama to be the guest of honor at the 10th Annual George Lindsey Film Festival. Considering his age, he is in remarkably good health and sharp as a tack!!! He spent 3 whirlwind days participating in panel discussions, hosting film screenings, attending banquets and a concert. The first day in town he was already planning his next return. Dont count on him bowing out too soon.

Maybe Charlton Heston should be reinstated?
chicago103 41 Posted November 22, 2007 Ermest Borgnine recently made a movie called A grandpa for Christmas which will air this week here in the U.S. He is on the cover of a TV guide I have and while he looks old and grandfatherly he doesnt look like he is dying. On the other hand we should consider keeping him because he is 90 years old and its hard to tell with alot of people that are 90+, he could die today or he could live to be 100. Starch 1 Posted November 23, 2007 The thing that makes him (and Al Molinaro) worth considering is that they're fairly big guys. I don't how "in shape" they are at their age or if they are technically overweight, but generally, the heart gives out on guys their size well before the age they are now. An overweight octogenarian is always worth considering.
Phantom 2,533 Posted November 30, 2007 Ernest Borgnine just gave an interview with Rusty Gatenby for Channel 5 News here about his favourite movies and his longevity throwing in a shameless plug for his latest made-for-tv movie. He seems in really good health and not about to die just yet. I think he'll last as long as someone like Charles Lane
BrunoBrimley 86 Posted January 4, 2008 I was watching Marty just the other night and I have to say old Ernie never seemed healthier.
