I appear to be Sweat Jizz. How nice.

My Mexican Wrestler name however is Sangre Rapido, which could also be my porn name...

Gil Ray dead at 60 according to Wiki ...

Drummer for Rain Parade...

Bloody heck!

He was the drummer for Game Theory and The Loud Family which are two of my all-time favourite bands. Supercalifragile, the first album to be released under the Game Theory name in nearly 30 years, is due to be released this year in memory of Scott Miller and features contributions from Gil Ray.

Gil didn't seem to age well, so it shouldn't come as quite so much a shock, but I'm shocked. RIP

Butch Trucks, drummer and founding member of The Allman Brothers Band, has died aged 69.Here is a Daily Mail obituary.

Turns out he blew his head off in front of his wife. So when the article said the cause of death was unknown that was utter horseshit.

How do you know that the journalists were there when they reported he died?

What they meant was that the cause hadn't yet been made public. It was at that time unknown to all but a few people.

He actually did the deed in his kitchen, right?

So they were having brains on toast at that point

Brains on toast! That was a real treat when I was a kid.

Mind you, the other kids at school thought we were weird. :P

Still preferable over Marmite.

Wow, he could have been an expensive deadpool gamble.

When Prince got wind in 2000 that Stubblefield was deep in debt from a fight against bladder cancer, he personally paid $90,000 to cover his bills.

Ah, that was it. I knew it had some reference to beats.

Just read that his "Funky Drummer" solo was sampled in no less than 1364 songs. Most well known are "Fight the power" and "Momma's gonna knock you out" but alsof George Michael's "Freedom" or Emily Sandé' s "Heaven".

The most sampled man in the history of the music industry - so much so that Polygram once had two legal execs employed full-time to do nothing other than track down James Brown samples and ask the samplers for money - that vast majority of the samples were people using Stubblefield's drumming.
