This has been a really bad year and a half for drummers

Maybe it be topped of with the death of someone  like Ringo Starr or Charlie Watts.

Sad fucking news. He was a great drummer in that band. Didn't really ever hear his solo stuff.

Me neither, but he was there around their greatest albums. He was collaborating with one of Low's guys on upcoming album, wonder if it was completed by the time he died.

There are some unofficial reports on Facebook suggesting that Lee Kerslake has passed away today.

Kerslake's wife has asked Hensley to take down the post, which he did. Anyway I think they are only working on an official announcement, it is definitely too likely to be another false report.

In that case, even if he's alive, he's not shooting down the rumours himself. So either dead or close to death.

Just as Uriah Heep's drummer he should get coverage, but the link with Ozzy nails it.

If true, sad news.

apparently dead... sad but that’s my 16th hit with RBG yesterday

Mee too, 2 hits in 2 days. Sad News, but not unexpected. Long overdue and not enough to make up for the crap that Sharon and Ozzy have pulled, honestly.

I think Lee Kerslake might not get a QO today considering that another death is massively overshadowing Kerslake’s. Though I’d be stunned if he doesn’t get a write up at all in the next few months or so (especially since Banali is less famous/influential than Kerslake).

Indeed, terrible timing to go so soon after Bill Gates Sr

I'd have assumed he'd get something from the Mail today as it's very rare a TMZ-reported death doesn't get rewritten asap.
