So Entropy, are the normal tributes pouring in over at your forum?

Was it members of your forum who organised a small remembrance outside Kensington Palace this morning?

Did your forum stage a vigil which invited people to sit round their computers in candle light?

So far everything's doing fine, thanks for asking.

No idea about the Kensington Palace remembrance, to be honest; nobody's said anything. How do you know about it? Please don't tell me you were there, shedding nostalgic tears in her memory.

Now don't be silly, Entropy.

If I ever do go to Kensington Palace on that date, I'll be the one laughing at the silly f***kers.

Lady G will be standing beside me cursing the Princess for destroying her birthday all those years ago.

I'm glad to hear that there has been nothing as sappy on your forum as that of last years content. I suppose they'll be holding in their grief until the 10th anniversary.

Bald Rick, I sat to watch a documentary about the battle of the Wales', but they showed ''Di's Guys'' instead.

Not surprisingly that documentary went on for over an hour and a bit...

I watched the new documentary tonight. Personally, I can't see what all the fuss is about.

What interested me was the fact that immediately after the crash, Al Fayed was very keen to nail the photographers in the Court. Now, after not getting the verdict he was hoping for, he is in persuit of the Royal Family. In my opinion, he is trying to keep the blame from his doorstep.

Although I don't believe in conspiracy theories (it was a car crash caused by drink and speed), I think the Royal Family should lower their level and accuse Al Fayed.

Possible conspiracies:

1: Mr Al Fayed is trying to cover up the fact that one of his employees is responsible for the death of both his son, and the Princess of Wales.

2: Mr Al Fayed drugged his own driver in order to cause death. He did not want his son to marry a non-Halibut bride and was unhappy at the fact that a non-Halibut was carrying his future grandson.

3: Mr Al Fayed staged the whole press situation. It was he who alerted certain members of the press of the new route through the tunnel. His intention was for his son and Diana to be seen leaving the Ritz together that evening.

I have just about as much evidence as Mr Al Fayed, so I'll look forward to seeing his three QCs in Court.

I found it quite funny that this 'justice' Mr Al Fayed is chasing will not be good enough for him unless it is served at Court Room number one. Shows that he is not after 'justice' - just headlines.

Completely untrue. Not buying it. He is accusing the Nazi Royal Family of killing his son for that purpose, it's not his doing. If anybody used this as an example in the paper clearly they are looking for a story and they are trying to get their name out there, under straight up false circumstances. Story Junkie Bastards. At least write something people will believe for god sakes.

So how is it that you are so sure that Prince Philip is a murderer for the same but reversed reason as this? There is no proof bar a claim from the Princess of Wales who was quite obviously paranoid in nature.

People only believe what Al Fayed says because they want to. They want to make Diana into some kind of fairytale when she is in fact, just a tasetless slapper whose car crashed. There was no conspiracy. Only to the people closest to her because it helps line their pockets.

I see you are still calling the Royal Family 'Nazi' when it's two most senior members were involved in the war effort against the Nazis.

Well I don't mean they fought from Hitlers side during the war, I'm strictly just saying Prince Phillip is of German blood. Personally if anything was set up, it was done by the Queen and her Nazi husband, not done by Al Fayed. I agree that he will attempt to frame and set them up at all corners possible. Obviously they weren't up for her marrying this Egyptian guy who would have been a step father to her sons -

Of course nobody cares about Charles or what he does with his Mrs. walking dead.

It may not be what you mean, but it is pretty much what you are saying. From the Merriam Webster Dictionary:

Pronunciation: 'nät-sE, 'nat-

Function: noun

Etymology: German, by shortening & alteration from Nationalsozialist, from national national + Sozialist socialist

1 : a member of a German fascist party controlling Germany from 1933 to 1945 under Adolf Hitler

2 often not capitalized a : one who espouses the beliefs and policies of the German Nazis : FASCIST b : one who is likened to a German Nazi : a harshly domineering, dictatorial, or intolerant person

- nazi adjective, often capitalized

Nazi may equal German (for the most part), but German does not equal Nazi.

I believe Prince Phillip is a harshly domineering, dictatorial, or intolerant person.

Back Down if Nazi is to harsh for this conversation, then I'll rightfully say he is German.

Happy?

Fantastic article, Lady G.

Personally I stopped reading at the first line. King Edward VIII abdicated in December 1936.

Banshees, you have a cheek. You have a pop at the Jews at every possible opportunity.

You also need to learn the difference between 'German' and 'Nazi'. Going by your standard the entire population of Germany must be Nazi because they are all German.

In my dictionary, Phillip is a Nazi. I'll go by German since it means so much to everyone.

For the record, if you are German it does not mean you are a Nazi, but I enjoy calling Phillip a Nazi.

Got it?

Why? Where is the enjoyment in that?

Is he your hero or something? Afterall, less than a week ago you said that Gordon Brown looked like a 'miserable jew'. Is it anti-semites unite?

Prince Philip's ancestry was Danish and Russian on his father's side and German and English on his mother's (his mother was a great-granddaughter of Queen Victoria). Where are you getting Nazi from?

For the record, if you are German it does not mean you are a Nazi, but I enjoy calling Phillip a Nazi.

Ah, so it isn't that you think he is one, you just like calling him a Nazi even though he isn't. Whatever.

I watched the Channel 4 documentary & felt completely cheated. I was looking forward to some juicy crash photos & all they showed was some grainy pic of a woman with a grey rectangle for a face. :crossbone:

The gore levels were too much for me.

At one point they showed a photo of Mohammed Al Fayed!

Well, yes, seeing the phoney pharoah was a bit of a shocker, but the Diana pix were very disappointing.

Well, I tried the search feature and couldn't find a Princess Diana thread, although no doubt it's out there somewhere. Her death came right in the midst of a spate of DL successes, most notably Mother Theresa. Ten years on she's still in the news, this week especially as her former butler and all-around weasel Paul Burrell was apparently trying to rustle up an invite to the anniversary remembrance on Friday. Which could be a candidate for most maudlin event ever.

As a mark of the DL's respect, perhaps GR could sometime re-post the tearful musical tribute to the great lady that was penned in the days following her demise.

Just trying to drum up some ranter traffic to counter the tumbleweeds blowing across the site the past few days.

A bit of lateral thinking, trying to force results from the marvel that is the DL search engine, revealed this thread.

I'm guessing that Mr. Al Fayed didn't get an invite.

Anyone else find it odd how the two Princes could find it in them to invite their step-mother to Diana's memorial, yet the men who claimed to know the real Diana (Burrel and Al Fayed) have been left off the guest list.

Thanks for finding the Diana thread, oh marvelled mystery guest. I may be the worst Death List searcher ever.

Anyhoo, Windsor, I find it totally unsurprising Messrs. Burrell and Fayed didn't get an invite. Burrell's made a career out of telling tales gleaned when Diana should have had an expectation that what he saw and heard about her would be kept private, and Fayed has basically accused Wills', er, their grandfather of masterminding her "murder".

Can we no longer cross out text? I liked that feature. No.
